Imperial... is that a Canadian measure? LOL. I was thinking Canadian gallon, anyways... I know Canada and US gallons are different, but can never keep straight whose is bigger or smaller And of course now that matter little since we went metric many years ago, yikes, it was in 1970. I can still think in both values, but my daughter has no idea what Fahrenheit temps mean.

I hear the stories from my Dad of a time when he remembers when gas stations were made of pure gold.
The gas station attendants would pay you 3 cents a gallon to take the gas off their hands.

Brand new cars cost a nickel, and local bakers would come to your house to make fresh bread.
Milk was grown on trees, and everyone owned a brand new comb.

Wow, those must have been the days?
I don''t believe the comb part though.

I remember gas being 12 cents a gallon, they washed your windshield, checked
your oil, checked the tire pressure in your tires. Oh, the good ole days.
