"I love you"...

But I don´t care of you.

1Jn 3:17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

Are any of them a choice?

When I have read ppl´s thoughts, problems and family turnmoils I´m not sure what could have been their best choice...

What would be yours?
Mat 6:19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
Mat 6:20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
Mat 6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

I wish I knew WHO was the real author of these thoughts (too similar and recurrent, by the way)

Pro 21:9 It's better to stay outside on the roof of your house than to live inside with a nagging wife.

Pro 21:9 It is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman in a wide house.

Pro 25:24 It's better to stay outside on the roof of your house than to live inside with a nagging wife.

If that author, by personal experience was rich enough, he probably would have gone to an Inn to sleep

Philipians 4:12-13
I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little.
For I can do everything through Christ,[SUP]c[/SUP] who gives me strength.

This I agree with. I want to live this more and more, it negates both extremes of GOD WANTS YOU RICH! and YOU MUST BE POOR TO FOLLOW CHRIST!

Oh! This is new, for me:

"Tob_12:8 Prayer with fasting is good, and almsgiving is better than hiding away gold in storage. "

Your words reminded me these, that I usually heard from my gradmom:

Pro 30:6 A poor man walking in truth is better than a rich liar.

"Pro 30:7-9 There are two things, Lord, I want you to do for me before I die:

Make me absolutely honest and don't let me be too poor or too rich. Give me just what I need.
If I have too much to eat, I might forget about you; if I don't have enough, I might steal and disgrace your name. "

Unfortunately,
I wanted to participate!

I'm not sure to understand the thread,
I understand the words poverty and wealth,
I don't understand what do you want us to tell.

Heaven and hell are both filled with once-rich and once-poor people. In the end forgiven still means forgiven, and unforgiven still means unforgiven.

Hi, Amanda!

If you had a thought, an opinion about Poverty or Wealth, you are free to share, and free to not share about.

Poverty :
Not all of those who're Poverty are good.
Some of them are not polite at all.
Some of them don't have a nice behavior
to others and if some people are poor
it's the life! They always have the choice
to persevere or to search for helps!

Wealth : Not all of those who're Wealth are bad.
Some of them can be really generous to give
without hoping to receive after.
Some of them are Wealth because
it's a heritage from their generations
of something like that.

I liked that...

I don´t remember her name but, here, there was a woman who wanted to learn "how to say no" to those who abused asking money (and she was quite poor)
