I think Jason had good intentions behind this thread. This is coming from someone that's disagreed with him on a lot.. I don't think there's a need to derail a good intentions thread or harp on him.
Maybe Jason did have "good intentions" maybe he was trying to push "his own adgenda"? If he truly had good intentions why would he "disagree" or make an "argument" out of someone who actually agreed with him? It is nothing but another "push my own adgenda" post from Jason as proof by the response to my post. Good intentions? Possibly "good own adgenda"?

Selfrighteousness is one thing we as Christians should not contain in our hearts. And self righteousness is one thing I see in you Jason. I actually agreed with a question you asked and you being so self righteous threw it back in my face. Someone had to be "wrong" from your standpoint so you, amazingly enough, made a way to make someone else "wrong". That Jason is being self righteous. You believe yourself to be so far "above" everyone else must be right. You seriously need to get on your knees before God. This is between you and God not you and everyone esle. Until you fall before God I will be there to defend God's Word. You say you "know" God's Word but that is hard to do when you think yourself "so good".

No I am not perfect and I don't know everything but I am willing to admit that...you refuse to admit that you might be wrong.
Again, it's not about self righteousness. Have you ever read Ezekiel 36:26-27?

For you can falsely say I believe in self righteousness until the cows come home, but it would not be a true statement in what I believe. I believe it is the Lord ultimately doing the work in a person, when they surrender to Him.

Also, do you not know that the Scriptures say you are to obey the gospel? Why obey the Gospel if it has nothing to do with obedience (according to what you believe)?

Do you also not know that Jesus is the author of eternal salvation to all who OBEY Him? (Hebrews 5:9)?

For Jesus said, why do you call me Lord, Lord and yet do not what I say?

According to Matthew 7, if you do what Jesus says, what happens to your house versus not doing what He says?

I could care less about my life. I don't desire to be seen as being religious. I prefer doing my works in secret before God but I know He desires me to preach His Word to others. In fact, I am ready to die at any moment to be with the Lord if that is His will. I am nothing. Christ is everything. So yeah. There is no personal agenda. Everything is God's. The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away; And blessed be the name of the Lord.

Yep it is all God. Nothing I do or you do. But yet you still add the word "I" when refering to salvation. You use the word "I" when refering to saved. You use the word "I" when arguing against OSAS. You use the word "I" when refering to "rewards". In the true Gospel of Christ the word "I" never is mentioned unless Jesus is refering too Himself. We should never use the word "I" when it comes to God unless we say "I am a sinner and I cannot do anything to deserve Grace". "I" can only be used in the phrase "I do not deserve God's Grace and mercy"
Until the Holy Spirit touches someone's heart that statement will never leave anyone's mouth. Until "I" am removed can the Holy Spirit touch my heart. And only the Holy Spirit can remove "I" from the equation.

And by the way..you have yet to prove that you are not self righteous. One way I know this is your constant use of the word "I". "I" must be sinless. "I" must be perfect. "I" must do good works. "I" must be baptized to be saved. "I" must follow God's commands. What ever happened to the Holy Spirit leading? Do the Holy Spirit lead us or push us? If He pushes us then we can use the word "I" but He doesn't work that way does He?

How about a new twist....God does. Wow, wouldn't that be amazing if God did and not "i" did?

The Bible talks from two different perspectives when it comes to works. This is because it is a cooperation on our part to surrender to GOD so He can do the good work in you. So I merely talk as the Bible does. For even Paul said he labored more abundantly than all the brethren he was writing to, but it was the grace of God within Him. In other words, when I say we must obey Jesus, I am saying it is a heart surrender whereby He then moves within your life if you let Him.

In the trenches as a worker of God I can still let the cost of service distract me. But, the second I lean off center, God reassures me that I am of no worth, so I am not under attack. He goes on to love me in a special way thru the Spirit of worship and He claims me to Himself in that moment, telling me, "You are of no worth, but you are of great value to me personally, and I want you to do things for me, for I trust you, and I love you...and I commission you. So suck it up, Slave [Dan] my Son, for I am with you to the ends of the earth, the pain you feel is not yours to bear, both in the affairs of mens contention over my Word, nor over the attack of Satan thru mens demeanor." He goes on to tell me, "There is a cost, I want you to know it is there, and it is real, and i will not let it break you... pick up the cross and follow me for in time you will be rewarded,... rewarded, Dan, in a way you cannot imagine yet!" Stay faithful to my Word, and lean not toward your experiences of the old self but upon My Spirit of life and purpose and value."

After those moments you would think I would get better at accepting the cost of service for the Lord, and begin to stop falling into the hurt of others and myself in such activities, And you would be absolutely right! Do I have human influences, yes....but they are not my way any longer no matter how loud the voice of human reason speaks. The Gospel of God is my life now not common sense.

" God keep me in this place-- now, later today, tonight, and thru the night and into the next day and into the next week, month, year, give me all of you Father, one day at a time ...and the death of me , let it be framed very close for me to see ...In Jesus name ...Amen!" "Thank you Lord Jesus Christ!""
"of no worth"??????? it cost the Father Jesus Christ to save you, that makes you valuable.

Not true at all. I examine my life all the time. For why else would I be asking such questions. You simply do not like the real message of the gospel. That it actually requires a surrender on your part to the LORD Jesus Christ whereby He does the work in you. That's not Works Salvationism. It's Christ Working in you because you have been truly saved and set apart and holy for His purposes of doing good and not doing evil.

No surrender to Christ = No salvation.

Doing both good and evil is not going to work.

Jesus said.... you cannot serve two masters.

Stop. And actually think about what He meant by that statement.

Anyways, do not let our disagreement on the gospel hinder you in seeking to live more righteously for GOD.

For whether I asked the question or another had asked you such a question. It is a question that is good to driving you close to GOD.
No one has to "drive" me closer to God, I love Him and WANT to spend time with Him whether in prayer or Bible study or singing praise music and I'm not the only one.

We love Him because He first loved us. No one has to be "driven" to spend time with the Beloved One.

Yeah and what did Paul say? "I am the greatest of sinners" Now there is the correct use of the word "I". Paul also NEVER equates "I" with salvation. I don't believe Eph 2:8,9 uses the word "I".

And by the way "I" let Him but "I" did not do it. The Holy Spirit touched "I", "I" did not touch the Holy Spirit. Did you reach for God or did God reach for you? If you say "you" reached for God the you just added "I" to salvation thus contradicting much of what you have argued for in other forums. Is it "you" or the Holy Spirit that keeps you in Christ? If you say "you" then you just added "I" too sanctification this contradicting things you have argued in other forums. You are stuck in "legalism" where "I" is a major factor.

Anyone who believes in a sin and still be saved doctrine is not drawing close to God because of their sin that they are still holding onto. Nobody draws close to God when they have sin standing between them and God. For God is holy, just, and righteous; And He will not tolerate willful rebellion habitually done against Him.

I would not change a thing! Nothing! I would continue to pray, read my Bible, do ministry to the weak, the lost, the downtrodden and the humble. I would continue to love God with all my heart, soul and mind.

I would continue to preach about the amazing grace of God and his saving power, through his death on the cross and his resurrection.

I would continue to follow Jesus from morning to night.

Praise be to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, who leads and guides me, and has transferred me from the domain of darkness into the kingdom of his beloved Son.

"He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son," Col. 1:13

The great evangelist D.L. Moody was asked, “What would you do today if you knew Jesus Christ was coming tomorrow?” His answer came, “I would plant a tree.”

So you think you are called to be a preacher against sin, Jason?

I think that is good. Except you do not include yourself in that category, and are constantly arrogant, pointing fingers at people you know nothing about, and basically accusing everyone that they are antinomianism.

I pray God will enlighten your heart! And please note that Paul prays that we would have LOVE FOR THE SAINTS.

"For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints,16 I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers,17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him,18 having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,19 and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might20 that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places,21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come." Eph. 1:15-20

I'd probably relax my driving need to understand the OT. Why bother working so hard, if I can ask him next week?

As usual...we have a treatise on the righteousness and sinless perfection of Jason. I can't take anything he says or posts seriously...ever. This guy has the credibility of a pathological liar.
Are you voting for him for President then? :p
