i dont get why back in the days of Jesus and Solomon, there were demons everywhere, they were getting cast out all the time. so where are they now? you would think in all these years you would hear someone at work or somewhere say something like "did you hear about jimmy, they casted out a demon that was in him".

Get out of your church and you will see it Sheeeesh really you think it stopped? Do you hear from God ever?

I've seen it. It was in church. I could tell you the whole story but I doubt you would believe it. It was about like a chapter from the gospels. You could say the woman was just crazy but her eyes went from clear to blood red when she started acting up and then back clear again after the demon was cast out.

I've personally rebuked a demon in the name of Jesus, and the boy I was praying for slammed into a house like he was thrown by several men when I gently laid my hand on him.

I've also rebuked a demon in a man during a prison ministry session. he came to the meeting naked and tried to break it up. I rebuked him before I really knew what was happening. The words just seemed to come out and then I realized what happened. He ran off faster than he arrived.

There was also a spirit in an old lady at a nursing home. She would follow me around while I was preaching and if she caught me, she would tug at my shirt and say, "what's my name." This went on for a while before the Lord told me to pray and bind that spirit before ever going in the nursing home. Before that day, this lady would always seek me out and do her "what's my name" routine the whole time I was there. She had never spoken any other words to me. The day I prayed and bound that spirit, I walked in and she wouldn't let me get close to her. She backed down the hall and pointed at me saying,"I know you,"I know you."

Okay, now let's get back to this. You seem to be trying to fight everyone, and I have no idea why. We're not all your enemies. Good chance none of us are you enemy. Angela was simply saying what she believes. Who cares who said watching before her? I can say that I've told others to focus on God and stop sweating demons, so, for all I know, she could be reminding me of that. But I'm not the only one who goes there, so she could be reminding others. For that matter, she could have been remembering something of what God taught her. (I vote for that last one, if I get a vote. lol)

It's cool. It's fine to disagree with others. Something seems odd because you seem to be disagreeing so often, you look like you're disagreeing and then in the next post you're out-and-out agreeing. Remember back on that thing that made you happy in your surroundings, get back into your happy place, and then feel fully justified to disagree with whoever you want to disagree with. I just can't see you as someone who just has to disagree with everyone about everything.

Sorry, I have aphasia. "Disjointed" wasn't the word I meant at that time. I do remember the gist of what I was trying to ask. The longer version, I just gave you in my last response to you.

You really are disagreeing so often in this that at that question you had asking about Peter and Paul's abilities, it did sound like you didn't think they needed God. And then in the very next response you gave you gave all credit to God. (Thus "Nix that question.") So, you're so upset and wound so tight over this you're even creating your own personalized right and wrong scenario. Like you're arguing against yourself without even noticing.

I suspect you had a bad day, something is eating at you, you're extremely tired, or something is happening in your life that has got you in a rage. Been there. I do agree with you more than you realize, but it seems like I'm only agreeing half the time, because the other half you seem to be playing the other side of the coin. Not a problem disagreeing. A problem when you're determined to disagree with everyone. It's impossible to disagree with people who agree with you.

Whoa! I thought all the good bikes (the ones where back pedaling is the brakes) were gone by the time you learned how to ride a bike. Until you said that, I thought most believers know someone or know someone who knows someone who has that story of "Jimmy." I know of a few times.

I'm not sure if it's me that you're referencing as far as disagreeing with this guy but in a sense I agree and in a sense I disagree. What gets me with people who come here like this...is the all or nothing thinking. Indicates an unrecognized anger deep down in the soul.
