Secular, brother. What's up with you and photos of feet? Haha! I can't go anywhere on CC, without running into your feet.

Hey, this is the internet, there just happen to be people who like feet here.
Different strokes, so don't you judge!

I'm not judging him, I'm just flummoxed by his feet focus. :)

Oh, botheration! There was a thread I clicked on and then it said I didn't have the necessary permissions to read it. I wish I could remember the title. It was a doozy!

Sorry, sister. 'Doozy', at least in Australia, means something is so terrible/special that it's highly memorable.
Yeah.. I know... You are making me keep the dictionary open... ;) but it's good... I love learning new words... :) That's one of the reasons I've been reading books that were writen in English, in English... and not translations... it helps... it is a little harder, but it's good! :)

Good on you, sister! That's great. :) I have an Indian friend who had a Greek Orthodox Bible (she was baptised into that church). I was helping her read the Bible and discussing things with her and she said she wanted to read the Bible in English (not her mother tongue) but that she found that translation difficult. So I gave her a more modern translation (my Contemporary English Version) with simpler words and shorter sentences. It was one from my teenage years. The CEV is a great Bible for people who speak English as a second or third language. She really appreciated the Bible. I tried to buy her a new copy, but she preferred the much loved copy. Anyway, to cut a long story short, she now finds the Bible much easier to read and she's become more hungry for the Word. Which is awesome. And she now belongs to a Pentecostal church (not mine, I'm Lutheran).

That's awesome! :D I hope she keeps growing in the Lord!!:)

I like to read the Bible in Portuguese... it's easier that way... if I could read it in the original languages... wow!! that would be perfect... but we can't always get what we want... :D

I'm exhausted, but last night was worth it.
