YES - I am sure I will travel to "Aussieland" on my own, if and when I can afford it. Also yes I do find it sad there is so few single parents on CC. Although I have the same problem at my church. I find it heartbreaking, it demonstrates to me that most of the single parents must not be Christians. I cannot imagine my life without GOD!
I hope, any day, you might have good times receiveing CC´s fellowship.

If any day I´m online, with that green point on, feeling heartbroken, please, just let me know about it.

NOT yet

Gen 42:23-24 And they knew not that Joseph understood them; for he spake unto them by an interpreter.
And he turned himself about from them, and wept; and returned to them again, and communed with them ...

Act 19:9 But when divers were hardened, and believed not, but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus.

I have been a single mum for 6 years to 6 children and their age are 24, 23, 21, 18, 11, 5 years old. I have not been able to take a vacation but I am looking forward for one. I know that in God's timing I will go on a God's vacation to my amazement!!!!!. I am also enjoying the company of my children knowing that I have been greatly blessed. 1 Pet 2:3 3 His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to[c] his own glory and excellence,[d]

Risen - When God's timing is right for a vacation I wish you a spectacular one!

I've been a single mom for over 10 years (ex has absolutely no contact) and I have not been able to afford to do much of anything with or without my kids. It's purely the Grace of God that I haven't gone bonkers or died of boredom.

You went on a vacation or a party without your kids? Where did you go? Did you enjoy or have any guilt?

Very Interesting :O
Only, I'm not a parent!

i have a 17 year old , a 3 year old and a 10 month old. i dont see me leaving the younger ones for a long time as i don't have the family or friend support for that. i found myself thinking about camping etc with them next year - the eldest will probably do his own thing but im excited about doing it next year. funnily i also wondered when my next lay in bed will be - probably a decade away now, how scary is that! plus when im in my 50's i will be having to buy a bike to keep up with the kiddies, as i did all of this with the eldset. So i guess my next holiday alone will probably be when i'm 60 :) something to look forward to :)
