I make it a point to go regularly. I love waking up on a cold, frosty morning and seeing the deer in velvet along the river and smelling the coffee brewing on the fire.

LOL. Its good being retired. I go where I want when I want and stay as long as I want.
Yeah... my dad tells me the same... it took him a long time to retire... when he finally did, he said that if he knew it was so good, he would have done it sooner... hehehehe

Now he spends all his time riding his motorcycle, fishing, traveling with my mom and complaining that I don't visit as much as I should... And I do visit every single week!!! Usually more than once each week!!!! LOL

Morning Sky. The peaches are gone, they come
in, in May. The only peaches left, are the whites, for
cooking, canning only.
Them Southern peaches. Best in the world I think!
Frank I am so happy you get to see April. What a joy!
She has been the sunshine for you. Just think her spirit today. How beautiful.
Please have a wonderful day.

Good morning, blessings for a wonderful Thursday!

When I was a kid, I worked with my dad and brothers selling produce, and would sometimes go with my dad to Saint Catherines (about 200 km) to pick up peaches to sell at the farmer's markets... they were much more seasonal than many of the other things we sold, but they were big business... and very fuzzy LOL. I would be itching something awful by the end of the day!

I also meant to ask: how long does it take for a calf to get to 300 pounds?

So, I was trying to kill a spider and got onto a step ladder and fell off the top step because the spider jumped and I didn't want it to land on me. Good news though one spider down several billion to go.

Can I suggest 'Eat a Peach' by theAllmanBrothers. I know it's secular, but it's real good traveling, and at the same time a solemn reminder to be careful on the road, if you know the mening of the title, and the sad things that great band of talented musicians endured. I have sometimes seen pictures of Duane Allman wearing a cross. I wonder if he was a believer in Jesus in his way. I pray it was so before that tragedy, what a talented addition to The Lord's heavenly band, eh? If anyone knows...Oh, and btw, good morning friends tho a bit late, sorry.:) Speaking of Southern peaches, and I don't really mean to be funny, but I just heard, pray for Pres. Jimmy Carter, you'll see why on the news. (I know, I know, but set that aside and pray for him) and PLEASE notice my sig and do or pray whatever you can. GOD BLESS YOU TODAY! ~sydlit~
