rep points and time between

LOL okay, I started making sure I was giving out plenty of rep (2 points a pop, yayyy!), and I got a stern message, "You have given out too much Reputation in the last 24 hours, try again later."

Other reject messages I have activated, "You cannot give reputation for the same post twice," and "You must spread the love." Or whatever that one is lol.

Anyway, I'm just having fun with the system, bear with me as I learn it! :-D :cool:

Yep, CM is code for me. Honestly I don't understand how those initials got out anyhow so I just use them. Lol.

I dont get that dang rep system by a country mile, evertime I wanna rep somebody that annoying box be poppin up sayin I gotta SPREAD some rep before givin it to that person...I did...aint workin...:mad:

Look to the left of your post, under your avatar: Rep Power: 33

(I still don't completely understand the Rep system here.)

There is a limit to how much Rep you can give out in a single day.
There is also a limit as to how frequent you can rep the same person.

I don't know the specifics... trying to find a thread that addresses this..

PartyOf3 - look at the bottom left of the dialogue box where it reads Blog This Post - to the right of that you will see a six-point star. Hover over that star and it reads: "Add to this user's reputation" The triangle next to that is for reporting trouble makers' posts.

And it it to the users reputation? Why and what does that mean?
 
I don't think The Bug has ever repped me. I feel sad about that. I thought she liked me.

Took me a few days to realize that rep points and rep power are two different things. If you click on your "settings" option, you can see the points and the power, right next to the "reputation received" box.

I've chosen the hide my rep option because I was embarrassed by it lol, such a newbie. So I have no clue what people can see or not see! But I love everyone! :cool:

Actually, if you have "Rep Power: 40" you have significantly more points, right? In your... settings thingy... I am a newbie! I don't know what I'm talking about! I just know what I see in my settings lol.
