Nicks! Why did you pick your nick?

I'm wondering, why are some folks picking nicks that are (to some point) normal names, and some be picking nicks that aint names, but expressions, sayings etc...so I'm asking...is your nick telling on you somehow?

I'm posting this in Singles, even though I'm not single, because it looks like most folks are frequenting this forum more often than other forums...i hope it is okay...

I like felines. They are more agile, more graceful than canines. I like my agility - to the point that I got toe shoes, because "normal" shoes with a thicker heel than toe interfere with my natural agility.

Why lynx in particular? They are a good balance. Tigers have too much muscle to be fast. They have to lie in wait for prey to get close enough. Cheetahs have speed but no endurance. After a hunt they have to rest before they have enough energy to eat. A lynx is a nice mix.

Also a lynx probably won't attack you if you walk through the woods. He'd rather lie in his tree and be invisible and left alone. Lynx aren't dangerous unless you go out of your way to bother them.

In other news, if you criticize someone's nick are you being nick-picky? Or nit-picky? Or nit-nick-picky? Or nick-nit-picky?

Lol, my name is Jenna, but most folks are just saying Jenny for some reason (and thats good, cause I dont really like that Jenna name lol), so I guess I wasn't all that creative myself, and before anybody asks...Mae is also one of my names (I have three lol)
