I'm wondering, why are some folks picking nicks that are (to some point) normal names, and some be picking nicks that aint names, but expressions, sayings etc...so I'm asking...is your nick telling on you somehow?

What a great thread! I always want to ask people about their avatars, but I'm too chicken to start a thread lol. I did ask PopClick and Reborn about theirs in their "ask anything" threads!
My name is Jen and I'm from Arizona, so... Jenizona! I find that people usually want to know your name and where you're from, so I was trying to just cut to the chase on that one lol.
And my avatar is my doggie, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Charlotte, first thing in the morning. She likes to wake you up with a nose to the face. I sometimes wonder if she's near-sighted because she gets -awfully- close, even with an iPad taking a picture of her! I used her as my avatar because I wanted something humorous/cool, that was relevant to me, without actually putting a picture of myself or my family on the forums. There you have it!
