So I've been at my job for about two months now, and I had a major oops happen on part. Fortunately my manager was able to sort it out, but he made it clear that this was not something that he enjoyed doing. He also said that if he needed to be more of an ironfisted person to get the job done right he would. (This is said in half jest.) But there are some comments he said that worried me.
"I try my best to be a good person and let everyone kind of (mess) around. But I can be a bad person."
"I once had someone that I scared so so much they had a heart attack because of me and he died....yeah I had to scare them that much to get the job done."
Now at first I was seriuosly scared for a second, but I have seen him react protctively towards other people when there was a possibility for someone to get hurt/messed with by another customer.
I guess the question is, should I try and look for new jobs? My mom says to let it go and sort of keep in mind if anything else worries me, but there seems to be a real trend towards anger in my work, all the way to the head owner. I guess I'm just worried because I have a hard time "disregarding that statement" as in legal terms.
