I haven't heard much of those guys, but Joel Osteen I've heard of, and I've heard some of his messages. Joel Osteen is more of a motivational speaker, or at least thats what I see out of his messages. On top of that, I don't know if he really knows scripture that well, I'll try and find the teaching he was doing, but in the teach Osteen said that God got upset with Moses and then stated God was comparing Moses to King David and King Solomon, who were not even in existence at this point.
But overall that's not my point. I was listening to someone who was talking about all these "Mega" Churches, and a lot of them don't even get out the message of salvation. A lot of them teach how to live successful and prosperous lives (which theres nothing wrong with that), but what the guy who was talking about the mega churches was stating what about the few people, who are not saved that come in to listen to something to motivate them in the ways of salvation. People in that condition are not getting the message that needs to be heard.
With that, I kind of share the same opinion as that.
If someone built up a mega church, that is a lot of work, and it's all wonderful and great. But only as long as they're getting the message of the good word out. Otherwise it's just a wolf leading sheep astray.
And again, my opinions on this are just based off of Joel Osteen's teachings, which are not creditable in my opinion, he's just a motivational speaking twisting scripture to support his motivation.
