If she's a Christian, loves the Lord with all her heart, soul, mind, and loves you, who cares? Some men might actually be jealous! But who cares?

The standards of the world are based on who has the most toys, the better looks, the most money, the most prestigious job, the winningest team, the better talents, the bigger home, the most expensive car.

All that stuff is going to vanish. And it will vanish before the end of time. Yes it will. Think about it. Breakthroughs of the past are merely common today: electricity, cameras, radio, TV, calculators, man on moon (no one even goes there now), and so on. What hasn't changed is man's journey to find happiness.

It's all in Jesus Christ. That will never grow old, never be common.

Enjoy your life. Rejoice in the Lord.

Ok..although I can be serious...no one take me too serious :)

I understand. I do.

Here's some thoughts: Taller women earn more than shorter women. That presents several problems.

If you date a woman taller than you, does that equalize her earnings with yours? I mean, she's female. So she's probably going to earn less than you. Unequal pay thing. You know. But she earns more than shorter women. So if she's taller than you, she probably earns the same as you. Do you want that?

And how will the women address this issue? Are they going to fight for equal pay among short women and tall women?

See Mitspa, you done changed the social structure that's evolving. Just by your question.

One question and you upset the whole kitten caboodle!

Got anymore?

Wow.

So... if I need some girls to work in my office... and I only hire girls that are HALF the normal size... hmmm.

This is going to save me a fortune.

haha ...funny you ask I thought about a thread called "would you date a woman that made more money than you?" Or "would you date a woman smarter than you" but I didn't want to get a ugly debate going :) blessed are the peace makers

I'd say go for it :) When you're looking for a soulmate with the Lord on your side I wouldn't worry about her being taller than you. Who says it's weird? Who knows she has a great personality and she could be your future wife so don't bother meeting her. I'm 6'4" by the way, just thought I should mention that :p Probably it's a problem that I'll never have to deal with! Good luck and may God bless you in this journey!

That almost sounds like you're implying there might be a woman somewhere who is smarter than a man.

It's ok... I know it was just a typo.

Genetically, I come from a line of vertically challenged....lol
My younger brother is only 5'4" and his wife is 5"11", it doesn't seem to bother them. I notice in pictures she's always sitting and he's standing, they make it work....lol

There's nothing wrong with being short.

Napoleon was short, and heck, he didn't get some kind of complex about it.

Height (nor age) should have nothing to do with whether or not two people are right for each other. What is important is that you are considering dating someone who knows Jesus.

Yep. That's right. As far as reasoning goes. In reality, laws will eventually override any money saving schemes you try to employ. Monthly salary might work.

Just don't discriminate! Hire one tall, one medium, and the rest shorter than those two.

I'm a short guy myself...bout 5'5-5'6...and personally it doesn't bother me if a woman is taller than me...as height does not determine worth/strength/love/grace/etc etc etc...society on the other hand would sure make me feel uncomfortable lol...

Story to prove example

Flash back to Mo's Highschool times when he was even shorter!

Random Girl: Hey Mo, it must be tough for you with Prom coming up..
Me: Why?
Random Girl: well finding a date girls with heels will be so much taller than you, If it were me I'd be extremely uncomfortable going to prom with someone shorter than me...good luck finding a date though!
Me: -_________________________________________________-

Hey, at least you got to attend prom! :)

Prom, now that brings back fond memories. There was a police officer that was a friend of my family and let's just say he interrogated my date. Made it a little awkward but a wonderful memory.

LOL funny! Why did he interrogate your date?
I didn't go to prom, no one invited me and all my friends had dates. I've never even danced with a boy before! When it happens, I'll be so nervous!
