LOL funny! Why did he interrogate your date?
I didn't go to prom, no one invited me and all my friends had dates. I've never even danced with a boy before! When it happens, I'll be so nervous!
Just making sure he wasn't going to try anything with me. For dancing with guys I tend to be forward and ask them. One night I ended up dancing with 10 different guys and had a blast and that was when I was shy.

I just went with a friend from church and there was no pressure but I did wear the most beautiful dress and a gorgeous corsage, then afterwards we went to Dennys. Lol

Nobody asked me to my junior prom. Possibly because I was married (or, to stay sort of on topic, I could blame it on being tall...). I went anyway, with three girls and a gay guy.

Uh...that awkward moment when...

i have a friend who's 5'2" or 5'3". his height hasn't stopped him from pursuing girls taller than him :)

Do you need a date to go to prom? Why not go by yourself? People there are the ones from school, right? So you don't need to worry about not knowing the crowd...

Why didn't you just go?

On topic, my personal preference is for the guy to be at least couple inches taller, but the height has nothing to with feelings that you have or whether you are perfect for each other. My doctor and I talked about this yesterday and as long as you have God at the center at an early point in the relationship follow his instruction you will be in good hands.

I could see myself dating a woman who's taller than me (I'm 5'-11 1/2"). Her height would be one of many factors that I would consider. :)

Do your parents know you're in love with your doctor?

yah i'm 5'3", but as we all know...

i'm awesome.

Melita, I'm almost 6' and my son is 6' and when we met you and your friends a few weeks ago, I did not notice your height at all. Your shiny raven hair, the light in your eyes, your sincere smile and your gracious voice are etched on my memory. But I wouldn't have been able to tell your height if someone had asked me. Honest to goodness. Isn't that strange?

I AM NOT IN LOVE WITH MY DOCTOR, silly goose. Lol. We were talking about putting God up front and center before making any decisions

I didn't go to prom but I went to one of the homecoming things without a date because there was nothing better to do on that Friday. It was awesome cuz some of the band members were there and we just decided to chill in the band room and eat pizza.
