Hi! We all have embarrassing stories that we have done and it's just easier to laugh at yourself than getting down about it.
What are some embarrassing things you have done in front of the opposite gender (whether you just found them attractive or were interested in them)?
I'll start. When I was a camp counselor, my boss was trying to set me up with this extremely good looking guy who came to do some landscape on the campground. He told me to bring some drinks to him and his workers by driving this old golf cart that was loaded with lemonade and water to them.
This golf-cart was completely unsafe and wasn't as reliable as a normal golf-cart. Sometimes it wouldn't steer and if it did, it was uber-sensitive.
So, I'm nervous. If you know me, I don't get nervous around a lot of people. But for some reason, I'd act like a nervous 12-year old whenever this guy was around. So, even bringing him drinks and trying to make small conversation with him was nerve-racking.
I hopped into the golf cart and drove up to where the guys were working, but not before the steering got stuck and I crashed it into some trees and bushes RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM.
I was mortified but was hoping they were too busy working. Alas, that wasn't the case and everyone was laughing and the guy was looking at me as if I was drunk.
Needless to say, I was too embarrassed to show my face after that.
