Height's not an issue. But I could only date a strong man. And by strong, I mean totally confident who he is in Christ. I couldn't partner with insecure arrogance. I wanna date a nice guy who makes me smile when I think of him.

As the tall girl in life....6 feet I have dated 1 man shorter than me with no issues. He was confident in himself and that's what makes the difference. My ex was 6'2" and he would freak if I wore heels making me taller than him. I believe if you're confident in yourself and not care if people look at you then it is perfectly fine. I say go for it!

haha ...funny you ask I thought about a thread called "would you date a woman that made more money than you?" Or "would you date a woman smarter than you" but I didn't want to get a ugly debate going :) blessed are the peace makers
Actually I remember that thread. I can't remember who started it. But I do remember it was in fact an ugly debate.

Was this some kind of joke?
I don't get it.

Where's my satchel... I really need to wrap things up for the day.
That's Zach Galifianakis from the movie, "Hangover". He cracks me up!!! :D

I would only date a woman taller than me if she could reach a bag of Chunky Chips Ahoy cookies for me from the top cupboard (I am tired of using a chair).

Unfortunately AzureAfire is only 5-foot-nothing, so I guess I will have to throw her up to the cupboard to get the cookies for me!!!

i didn't go to prom. i wasn't asked to it either.

i don't know if it was because everybody knew it wasn't my scene...

or no one wanted to go with me?

lol
Same here, and I wondered the same things you have. That and maybe it's better for the embarrassing stories topic, but I don't know how to dance

I'm engaged to one...

She's a half an inch taller than me, although I cry foul on that last height measurement... I was almost certain I was taller than I am.

*shrug*
Honestly when we were on our first date I remember thinking "gee this is nice, she's right at eye level." She's got gorgeous eyes so I certainly lucked out. I always thought short women were fun but nah... I'm keeping this one.

This does bring up a good point - would you date someone who is within a half an inch of your height. Before everyone says yes - keep in mind that the whole noses colliding while kissing thing, it's real. The struggle is real.

Do you need a date to go to prom? Why not go by yourself? People there are the ones from school, right? So you don't need to worry about not knowing the crowd...

Why didn't you just go?
I had huge self-esteem issues and I hated the way I looked. I don't anymore, but I used to.
Also, all my friends had dates, so I didn't want the be the third wheel in any group lol.
Finally the guy I was head over heels for all four years was going with someone and I didn't want to see them. :(

But it's all good, I really don't mind that I missed it. Who knows, maybe I'll have my first dance with my future husband and that will be special. ;)

Same, brother. I'm also 6'5".
6,5? Do you all play basketball? haha I'm kidding!

My brother is 5,10 and is considered tall here in Texas. Funny.

I'm 5,3 and I'm the tallest one of my group of friends.

Haha! You're a funny one, Molly. No, I don't play basketball. I'm not athletic and I'm about as uncoordinated as you can get. In that respect, and that respect only, some might call me the male Lizzie McGuire. Erm... :)
