Technically yes, but they don't believe in Christ, and this is still a christian site.

Yes.I think oncefallen made it more clear and I will be checking the Arab forum often to make sure anything promoting the Muslim faith is removed.

I actually find it somewhat comforting that we have an arab forum as a safe place for possible new Christians who live in islamic nations that persecute Christian and Jewish people. Even if there isnt much happening on it, Im glad that its at least there for the few who do.

I would agree with the description, though. Welcoming muslims even with the enforced rule of not allowing muslims to come here solely to promote islam. Maybe it could be changed to saying something about being islamic but seeking the truth in Christ?

And it would be cool to have a forum welcoming Jewish people going through the same thing, I think. Someone who was raised to deny Him, but want to answer His calling to Him, would be cool yeah.

I noticed we have a Arab forum but not a Jewish forum.Id just like to put forth the idea. Thanks
I haven't read all the posts on this thread, but I would assume the Arab forum is for Arab Christians. I think by definition Jews aren't Christians, though I have nothing against them.

I like this idea, but for the sake of not making a bunch of ethnic based forums, which is nearly without number, what if simply the Arab Forum was renamed the Middle East Forum so as to include jews and other Middle Eastern ethnicities?

This is a huge can of worms. What about the American Jews that aren't in the middle east. Lets just drop all the ethnic forums. Be "Christian chat" and let God do his job.

Nothing "technical" about it. The Jews and Christians worship the same God. The Jews even see Yeshua in the OT but they will not tell you that. They don't believe the NT is the word of God and that is why we as Christians should read and understand both. If you ever chat with a Jew about religion you will have to speak to him from the OT as that is their bread and butter and they will chew you and spit you out if you don't have a good knowledge of both...
Every time I've ever talked to Jews about religion they tell me God doesn't exist. Must be an American Northeast thing, but I've known many Jews over the years. lol

Well I am of Jewish decent but I don't know if that makes me a jew however if it does then I guess you found a jew that says God exists:b

The difficulty is that Islam is essentially a religion. As with Christianity you can be from any nationality. So you can have ex Muslims. You cant really have ex Jews, because being Jewish is a cultural thing as well as being religious. You are either Jewish or not. You can be a Jewish Christian though so I suppose you could have a Messianic Jewish Forum.

She's right. We need one for Mormons and JW's too. (At least they recognize Jesus... Well, in a way.) LOL
And one for my Aunt Mary...

She's a lovely old gal! :p

According to some estimates, there are roughly 4,200 religions in the world. Lets see how many threads we can have.

Well, that would limit us to roughly 4,200 threads.
