You did not have a kitchen to clean on your list... if you need one, mine is available ;) I would be pleased to be able to add to your general happiness and excitement about life LOL :)

Well, thank you for the generous offer but I need to get my to do list done. I might ponder it for a while. What can I say, but I am a little strange? But that's how God created me. Plus I get to clean a house next week
You know what I loved about cleaning the bathroom sinks this morning? It was the whiskers in the sink and toothpaste drizzle left in the sink that is the HIS sink, because I love the man that uses the sink and I have a husband....So who cares about the whiskers and the toothpaste drizzle when there is a man in the house? Not me I am so happy to have this man in the house after 35 years of no one.... so bring on the snores, whiskers and toothpaste drizzle...loving every bit of it....

I already posted this in the prayer forum, so if you have seen it, don't worry about this post.

I failed the biologic I have been on for the last 5 months. I have massive flares everywhere and I'm taking lots of OTC drugs to try and manage the pain. I can't walk or lift things. (Typing is still possible! Irony, hey?)

So he is starting me on a DMARD, Arava, which I took for lunch and I am now feeling the side effects already, including the liver hurting me, and dizziness.

He is also putting me on the last possible biologic out there, Orencia, because my RA is so severe (I am the patient with the worst RA he has ever seen!) So the med has to jump through some approval hoops, but hopefully some samples in the next day or two? It is a weekly needle, which shouldn't be too bad.

So I need prayer that these drugs will work, and with a minimum of liver issues or other side effects.

If Orencia and Arava fail, then it will be long term care for me. I've been crying a lot. Because other people I know who were on Orencia, it only lasted a year.

Thanks for listening.

Now back to your regularly scheduled program.
So sorry to hear this Angela....

Dear Father
Our Sister needs You in this trail of pain that she is going through. Please help the doctors to be able to come up with something to help her and help her to have strength to get through all these changes in meds and treatments. We know You could heal her and that is what we really want for her. We know You have a plan for her life and we just lay all these issues at Your feet with our Sister and trust You will do what is best for her. Keep her wrapped close in Your arms of love and bring peace and comfort to her soul... In Jesus Name Amen

I just realized what today is... It's so sad... I remember when it happened and what class I was in when it did happen. :(
I was around seven years old, so I don't remember too much. I do know that I seen my mother watch the TV and it showed what happened. I think we got dismissed early from school as the result. My father went to the grocery store that was opened at the time when we lived at our old place and since NYC is not too distant, he saw some of the smoke from over there.

The Prayer of Saint Francis

Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
Where there is sadness, joy.

O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
To be consoled as to console,
To be understood as to understand,
To be loved as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
It is in dying to self that we are born to eternal life.
