How were you living before you came to the Lord and listened to His words in those teachings and commands ???

Were you not living by the flesh???

Yes you were as we all were, but now being in the faith of Jesus putting us under grace we are commanded not to walk that way any longer as it is bondage that leads to eternal death. Now we are to walk by the Spirit and that way by walking in His righteousness leads to eternal life.

If we could still live however we wanted we would all still live by the flesh as we once did, and how do I know this is true? Do you still commit sin, yes as we all do, but how do you deal with it from here now that in the faith? This is what separates a true saving faith from a false faith in the Lord, as true believers will confess that sin and continue to walk in the Light/Spirit.

Those who do not will continue in those sinful ways and not give them up !!!

I'm not who I was before I was saved. You have given us some real insight into what is going on with you. That’s some kinda stinkin’ thinkin’ you have going on there.

if you have not repented and come to God in complete humility as the tax collector did, Thats all you have is stinkin thinking.

It does no good to think your stuff does not stink, and all you do is have a few oopsies. when the word of God says you are worthy of condemnation apart from the love of Christ. no matter what you do.

Being free from sin is the exact opposite of being free from God's words. Being free from any part of God's words is to be a slave to sin. Who is the Word, all of it to the detail? Our Savior. Falsehood is teaching that "I'll take only what I want of Christ Jesus, He can have the rest." Being free from any part of God's words, and seeking ones own righteousness by acting good according to their own preferential thoughts is actually placing oneself "under the law." So not abiding by all of God's words is actually being "under the law." Ironic isn't it?

Say what you want because what I speak on comes straight from the Word of God !!!

You say you are not the same as before you were saved, well that means then you should not be walking the same way either. If you are then you are still the same as before you were saved, but if you don't walk as you previously did then that is good and I thank God for working in your life.

Instead of trying to be insulting in replies try and be more respectful in replies keeping with the fruit of the Spirit.

Trying to go around to different threads seeking to cause strife is not the Christian way as that is not by the Spirit.

Love you brother and I will continue to pray for you !!!

I have heard everything now

When you have used a map to get to a place a few times, and have it in your heart. Do you still focus on the map to get you there? Or do you worry about more important thangs than the same old map Which you already have written in your mind by that time?

Oh, and what do you do when you run into a road block. How can you survive when the law says do this or else. No room for going on detours. According to the law. detours are sinfull. and not trusting in God.

Why do you keep judging everyone else, brother?? Take that log outta your eye.....

Yes as long as we are under the understanding the the Spiritual aspects of the law are not the same as keeping the physical ordinances of it. I know that you know the difference and how some still want to refuse that there are still standards to uphold in the New Covenant.

I have posted multiple times how the 10 Commandments are still upheld in the New Testament, yet some still want to refuse this and call a person a legalist who continues in liberty !!!

Why do you keep judging everyone else, brother?? Take that log outta your eye.....

He has to make himself look good some how.

So instead of admitting he is unworthy, he has to compare himself with people he considers sinners..

I can give you a bible study on the difference between judging and rebuking/reproving if you wish ???

It would take to long here but I can in another thread if that is what needs to be done, as it seems confusing them is a big issue on here for some.

Also I have removed the plank out of my own eye, so again your analogy does not work !!!

Just a little sadistic humor to lighten things up. Could be that both people have logs in both of their eyes.

One guy says; "I can't see your eye to give it a good punch."

The other guy says; I can see your tooth, and here it goes so you stop talking!"

Bag, the tooth is gone.

There you have it, an eye for a tooth. LOL

Why must so many throw that around "Take the board out of your own eye!" Do we know for sure that person that we're saying it to, has a board, or has their board already been removed. I could only see a board if they are contradicting scripture, unless you are aware of other sins in that person from close intimate relations..Just pondering

We all sin, therefore to judge others is to ignore that we too sin and is hypocrisy.

We are aware of much when it comes to Kenny.

Thank you as that gets old with all these unedifying treatment of others on here just because they don't agree with them.

My calling that God has pulled me to do is teach the same warnings to believers as Apostle Paul did, and I am going to stick to those teachings I was called to do no matter how people speak to me.

Again there is a difference in judging and rebuking/reproving.

We are told not to judge, but we are allowed to rebuke and reprove others so as I have asked others do I need to start a thread to explain the difference so that people can stop automatically stop jumping to judging when that is not what is being done ???

Paul woke people up to who they were in Christ. He didn't condemn them in their sin, He pointed them to Jesus. You can reprove and correct, but do it in love with a renewing of their mind to who they are in Christ. Let them know that their actions don't align with who they now are in Jesus Christ, that is the righteousness of God in Jesus Christ.

What is righteous judging? As I see we are to do that...When, where, how to apply? When do we know when to exhort. as I see we are to do that too! When, where, how to apply? When do you call it grieving the Holy Spirit?[h=1]John 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.[/h][h=1]Hebrews 3:13But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.[/h]

I don't condemn people either so I don't know where that comes from, but if you don't think Apostle Paul got harsh with others some times I think you need to read his epistles again.

The Galatians, Corinthians, and even Peter he did not use a soothing approach with, he admonished them with strict warnings if they continued down the path they were on !!!

He told the Galatians they no longer had remission of sins and that they had fallen from grace, and to the church in Corinth he told them that if a member refuses to stop their sinful ways they are to be ousted/shunned from the church.

He told the believers at the Roman church that if they did not continue in His kindness/grace, they would be cut off-------and this is not talking about rewards either !!!

I wrote a song for all, everyone..it is called "I am Scripture, I am God's living word!..that can also be changed up as "You are Scripture, you are God's living word" as we see each other differently! I will mix the two...

When I was born,
I was written in the bible,
How was I suppose to know,
But his love has never ended,
He endured through my growth.
God knows what he planted,
We are his tree,
Planted in his Orchard,
For all to see!

(Chorus)

I am scripture,
You are scripture,
We are God's living word,
I am scripture,
You are scripture,
Living in this world!
(repeat chorus)
