Mitspa..."Take a blue pill and consider my logic.." Really? The BIBLE says "Lean NOT unto thine own understanding.."
However, we see here that you put a ton of self respect into your own posts...something that God will not consider when HE looks into the Lamb's Book of LIFE beside your name. Nobody on earth is to consider your personal logic...unless you are guided by the Holy Spirit, annointed to connect people to JESUS and souls are being won for HIS glory. Wherein does that occur, if people 'consider YOUR logic? If you would come down from your lofty perch and walk among us lower lifes, you just might humbly begin to see that your online logic is not exactly what people need here. Where does JESUS CHRIST play in this? You are supposed to be a brother in CHRIST, representing HIM and reflecting HIM....who cares about YOUR logic...and to tell someone to 'take a blue pill" is such a soul winning expression that lures people to GOD, right?

i am not 'eaten up with gnosticism'...i have studied the history of the christian church and i know an old heresy resurfacing when i see it...

gnosticism claimed that there is a 'reality behind reality'...that the 'reality' that ordinary people see is an illusion meant to keep them pacified and a distraction from the 'true reality' which only the 'initiated' are aware of... this gnostic doctrine is also taught as a sociological principle by conspiracy theorists... and it is the core premise of 'the matrix' movie which you allude to constantly... it was also taught by the influential new ager robert anton wilson...

most gnostic sects also claimed that the world was not ruled by the supreme God but by an inferior derived or created deity variously called the 'demiurge' or 'yaldabaoth'... this gnostic 'evil deity ruler of the world' is basically the role 'christian' conspiracy theorists assign to satan in their erroneous doctrine... it is also similar to the role of the 'deus ex machina' in 'the matrix'...

so both conspiracy theory itself and your preferred cinematic analogy are both heavily influenced by gnosticism...conspiracy theory is nothing less than the revival of this most ancient heresy and its adherents are modern day gnostic heretics...

the 'concept' illustrated in 'the matrix' is principally gnostic as i have shown...

the fact that a professing christian is using 'the matrix' as an analogy to push what is essentially a revival of an ancient heretical worldview...one of the few explicitly condemned by name in scripture...should give everyone pause...

this is quite possibly why our primary geopolitical rival russia is a state sponsor of western conspiracy theory...through propaganda outlets such as 'russia today' and others...

Ive noticed that as well...that much of this stuff seems to be coming from Russia, should cause some to really question a lot of this stuff.

Just remember that all Conspiracies comes from man! No were in the bible talks or even says about conspiracy. Many people will point the finger at someone or something with only there thoughts to back them up, now thoughts and theories and assumptions are not facts and not proof. But conspiracies are all man's doing.
They all come from man. has been since the very day man was created.

this makes no sense. you admit there are corrupt oppressive entities but then you stop right there as if they have no agenda. if they exist then what exactly is their purpose? do they exist for their own amusement?
and i didn't mean to sound harsh, but ur arguments are a bit frustrating to understand, its like i make a point and you take your point and go sideways.

corrupt oppressive entities exist to profit from their corruption and oppression...

i see no need to take a giant leap of logic and assume their purpose is to take over the world for satan...
 
This is my issue too...when folks leave what is provable and go into the imagination of folks and try to draw out things that seem to based on a desire that some have to want to believe the worst in these people. Not to mention the folks that go into lizard people and aliens etc...

Most everyone is guilty of bringing their, or reflecting their personal feelings, experiences, etc to bear on any given topic. I am no exception, although I do try to analyze the information fairly before coming to a conclusion, even if that conclusion hurts or is not popular.

A good example would be what I believe about 911. I think that it can be convincingly shown that there was a large amount of media trickery that day, including many of the moving images we saw. But because of a long standing emotional investment (past, as well as current) - especially among those who are continuing to believe in, and fight the "war on terror", it is usually heavily resisted. In my view the truth (any truth) is not always comfortable or consoling. Sometimes it is downright frightening and ugly.

Go to youtube. Watch documentary "September Clues" by Simon Shack.

Personally, when I initially watched the documentary I was already in a position of doubting certain things about 911 that didn't add up. That said - it was still initially very disturbing to me.
 
Just for your personal knowledge: I have never been nor ever plan to be a 'conspiracy guy". Who needs to keep spinning their wheels in mud? lol Yes, it would be awesome if you and I were brothers/sisters in CHRIST, both having our names in the Lamb's Book of LIFE..is there any shame in admitting it?

To even bring that into question over an issue like this, seems very odd to me? I have no doubts about my place in Christ and dont go about trying to questions others place unless there is a real clear reason to do so.

Friend I watched this ...and I must say that its this kind of stuff that makes me doubt the whole intention of some of this conspiracy stuff.... there was no plot by all the tv reporters in New York city to put on some big fake show...to even suggest that leaves the realm of logic and goes into just a unreasonable place that honest folks would never believe. Its this kind of stuff that makes me question to whole conspiracy concept. I don't want to offend you...but this is nonsense friend and you should really reconsider what and who you are trusting.

Oh, I'm not offended. I stand by that reference though. It is an informative documentary.

By the way, the original version runs for a little over an hour and a half. I see your reply is about half an hour after I suggested it.

when these people have more money than they can count in 100 lifetimes i think their goal is more than just profits. they want power and control. look at the history of the US last 50 yrs, do we have more freedom or less? its not that hard to put 2 and 2 together.
