Apostle Paul states it the best way:
(Ephesians 2:8) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
He says we are saved by grace through faith, meaning only through the faith of the Lord is one under God's grace that saves, and Paul does not leave it at just that as we read on the Ephesians 4.
Apostle Paul in Ephesians 4:3-32 states how we are to keep the unity with the Holy Spirit by walking properly in the faith, and breaks down how we can and can not walk. He says those who continue to work uncleanness have not learned Christ. We are only sealed by the Holy Spirit as Paul states in verse 30 if we keep that unity.

Saved not by our faith but by the faith of Jesus Christ for He alone was and is faithful for all of eternity.
Not me but Jesus Christ. Savior and Preserver of all who trust in Him.
Proverbs 17:8 ¶ A gift is as a precious stone in the eyes of him that hath it: whithersoever it turneth, it prospereth.
Consider that salvation is a gift.
For the cause of Christ
