Recently came across some random advice... and figured I shared it.

1. If you want to see how a person will be like (treat you) if you married them. Study how they treat their family members because people can treat you EXTRA nicely (fake) for a while, but they won't do that for their families. They'll probably more likely act as their real self.

2. If they are not content with Jesus who is perfect... why would you expect him/her to be content with you, an imperfect person?

^^^ I think it's a great question. In general, I think people should be somewhat "stable" getting into a relationship.

Make sure you don't look or sound crazy. Your future husband need not to find out you're crazy, not on the first date. Only after marriage.

Don't pick your nose.

Scratching the outside is ok if its absolutely necessary, but make sure they can see where your finger is.

Before you date a person you should first make them use a computer with slow Internet to see who they really are.
 
Guys are visual be very careful ladies what you say and do with body I personally try my best not to mention myself showering in the past i might have thgt it was funny that i mention in a story to a guy how i found my nephews optimus prime toy in the shower and think nothing of it but that can cause my christian brother to stumble he not only thinks of your naked body in the shower but he replays it in his mind he gets trapped. I wasnt aware of such things in my ignorance untill christian men spoke up about the battle in the mind . Its not old fashion its wisdom .

Say a prayer at one point in your date, inviting God to be part of the occasion.

If the person welcomes God, rejoice, if not, no need for a second date.

Reminds me of a quote I read once. "Ah, you're a (family name here.) That clan always did have deep pockets and short arms." Meaning they had a lot of money but never spent it.


Okay my real advice on dating is to ask some married friends how they went on dates. They seem to have been successful. Asking people who are still single how to date is like asking someone how to fish when he has never caught a fish.
 
Communication. Communication. Communication. It's all about the ability to fully communicate with one another. If you can't do that, then you have no business being in a relationship.

Ah.... really?


If he's stumbling because he thought about you in the shower, he shouldn't be dating, he should be working on that issue. A mature man is going to have learned how to keep from staring at every pair of breasts that walks by, so he's not going to be thinking about what you might look like in the shower if you mention that you took a shower.
