I was driving on the free way today and saw a car with a LARGE Blue paw print. I said to my oldest " A CLUE...A CLUE!" and he countered "BLUE CLUES" Remember that show?

LOL!!! This post is awesome!

I was never into the show much (wasn't around any little ones to watch it with at the time) but I do remember all the rumors about the show's host, Steve, meeting some untimely, unknown end... and the world pretty much blew up over the news that he had supposedly died.

Me and my brother was talking ..he is a THP and pulled me over just to chat and told me the state wanted him to write so many seat belt tickets ...he said he was embarrassed to write grown men a ticket for such nonsense (his words attack him) then we started talking about as kids how we used to lay down in the back window of those big old American cars .. remember when America was free :)

So I noticed that someone posted a picture of Gizmo and if I remember right, several posts back, someone asked why people were afraid of Furby's...

You will probably notice a more than uncanny resemblance. Furby's reminded a lot of us of Gremlins (this picture is of the only "friendly" gremlin, Gizmo):

and if you got them wet or fed them after midnight, they turned into this:

Note the demonic eyes and razor-sharp teeth. Definitely not human-friendly, seeing as in this form, they would kill people.

Therefore, I think a lot of people were pretty much afraid of Furby's doing the same thing... (Death-By-Furby.)

Oops, picture of Gizmo as a Furby didn't post... will try again...

(Plus, I need something to distract me from the preceding image of Chucky. Oh, the memories...)

No wonder I've always been a little creeped out by dolls. It's the eyes, man... the eyes...

So what was scarier for us 90s kids?
Furby
Chucky
Goosebumps
Are You Afraid of the Dark?

Are there any others that could be added onto this list?

When you don't watch horror movies, things like this don't disturb you. ;)

Also? You young 'uns. Your cartoons! Gaah. I hated them. My era was of Looney Tunes, mostly. We weren't allowed to watch much more than that.

Watched a lot of Little House on the Prairie, Brady Bunch... My Three Sons, Hardy Boys mysteries (Such a crush on Shawn Cassidy)
