Reminds me of a Bill Engval skit. He was talking about how he finds himself saying things his dad used to say.

"Anyone in this room? Anyone going through this room? We're lighting up the neighborhood here people! Look I've got a 60 watt bulb in here but we can drop it down to a 15 watt if we can't handle the responsibility."

Yeah, I'm pretty much of the mindset that no one particularly deserves anything. As humans, we should be accorded respect because we are created in the image of God. So, showing respect to a fellow human is a way of honoring God.

If I got everything I deserved it would be a rather mixed-bag of some amazing stuff and some well-earned consequences that God in his mercy has seen fit to spare me.

But I also think I want her to bring my slippers.

Oh, and she should be dressed up really pretty when I get home,
like in that one movie I saw.
It was called Stepford something or other.

Haha.....I would be happy with trying. Lol. The other night I was sitting at the mountain of paperwork on my kitchen table. I felt so fortunate to have only my mess to pick up and not 36 other people...actually 3....but looking back it seemed like 36. Lol
