Okay, she just texted that everyone is okay. They did steal money and I believe they got away. I'm not 100% sure yet, but she is safe. The cops just left so I guess it's all good. She can't talk much because she's working. Just wanted to give me an update.

Thank you all so much for praying for her. I was worried. This isn't the first time they rob a bank where my mom is working at and it's always terrifying.

You all are such a blessing. I'm so thankful that I have been more involved with CC lately. I feel like I've found an online family of fellow believers and it's such a great thing to have! Again, thanks for praying.
I feel kinda silly, but I'm actually choked up right now, and thanking God with a new feeling I'm not sure of. I really just believed that God was in control, and I'm so glad your mom's ok, I mean, I REALLY AM GLAD, and I don't even know you, but I just sensed an answer to prayer that I'm really not used to, and I actually have a bit of a tear welling up, and I'm sitting here laffing at hiw silly I must seem (im glad im alone, lol,)(for right now, that is, lol, otherwise I Never say that) THANK YOU JESUS, new mercies I see, You are Such a wonderful Saviour! Wow...don't know what happened on that retreat this weekend, but I wanna go again. :)

Some days start out in confusion and fail to improve. Those are the days I thank God for chocolate chip cookies.

I don't know what's going on.

gypsygirl: Yeah I know there's a lot of ways to make caramel. But most people think of dulce de leche (I took french in school :) ) and seoulsearch is almost always short on time so I figured the fast way would be best.

But for sure, coffee or chocolate flavored caramels (Torani fudge is wonderful for that!) are a good idea, especially with Christmas coming up.

Ahem!

Hint hint.

Not saying anything, just saying... if you happen to make some and want someone to try them... :D :D :D

Correction: Dulce de leche is spanish. I knew it was spanish, but when I was typing my brain said "I know what that means so it must be french" and never bothered to look up its own memory archives.

That awkward moment when you know something but didn't think of it until someone reminded you. :/ I need to upgrade my brain's RAM.

It's been really cloudy and hazy where I live and I haven't seen blue skies in months. But I saw the sun yesterday and it was red-ish because of the clouds and the haze. But a glimpse of it reminded me, I'm still on earth!

The End of Life Option Act was signed today in California, legalizing assisted suicide. What a quagmire.

Quote from a computer in a video game I once played.

[h=3]SPAM: Tired of life?
[/h] From: KVORK, Inc.//NYCNET.89.09.64.53

Subject: SPAM: Tired of life?
Hello Friend,
Has life become too impersonal, too tedius, too painful for you? Then now is the time to exert control, to make that decision which is ultimately the only real choice we ever have: the decision to die.
Some may describe this as an act of selfishness, but with the dwindling reserves of natural resources throughout the world you're actually contributing to the well-being of all those around you. A recent bill passed by the United States Congress even authorizes a one-time payment of c10,000 to your chosen benefactor upon passing away.
So do yourself, your family, and your friends a favor and visit any one of the KVORK, Inc. clinics in a neighborhood near you. We'll help you make a difference—quickly and quietly.
Sincerely,
Derek Schmitt
Director of Development, KVORK, inc.
