Gal 3:10
10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
KJV

As I understand it, this verse informs us the Law has no part in our relationship with God, through faith in Jesus. Continuation under the Law constitutes a lack of reliance on the sufficiency of what Jesus did for us. If we rely on our own obedience, we become responsible for total obedience.

To everyone I would like to ask the question "Are you under the law?"
According to scripture, IF you are 'under the law'... then:
1) The law was written just for you.
2) Sin has dominion over you
3) You are without faith
4) You are in need of redemption

While this study is deep, we cannot underestimate its importance. Those who are under the law are in a lot of trouble! They have no salvation!
But the interesting thing about these 4 characteristics I listed is that they couldn't possibly be speaking of someone who is walking in obedience to the law.
Instead, they indicate that those who are 'Under the law' are faithless, unsaved, unrepentant and have sin reigning over them.

Romans 3:10-19
[SUP]10 [/SUP]As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
[SUP]11 [/SUP]There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:
[SUP]14 [/SUP]Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:
[SUP]15 [/SUP]Their feet are swift to shed blood:
[SUP]16 [/SUP]Destruction and misery are in their ways:
[SUP]17 [/SUP]And the way of peace have they not known:
[SUP]18 [/SUP]There is no fear of God before their eyes.
[SUP]19 [/SUP]Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

Romans 6:14-15
[SUP]14 [/SUP]For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
[SUP]15 [/SUP]What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

Galatians 3:23
But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.

Galatians 4:4-5
[SUP]4 [/SUP]But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
[SUP]5 [/SUP]To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

Galatians 5:18
But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

My take.
The Bible makes it very clear who is and who isn't under the law. Even a non believer can clearly see who is and who isn't.
Anyone who says they believe in Christ for eternal life, and they have fruit to prove what they say, is not under the law.
Insinuating that a true believer can be under the law is a lie because it's impossible.
If the insinuation happened to be true, then the person claiming to believe in Christ is a liar.
If one Christian says that another believer that their belief is not of faith because they revere the law, then the insinuator is a liar.
If a person is without Christ, and truly under the law, real Christians should be wanting to do everything they can to win this non believer.
To insinuate that a true believer wants to be under the law because they like the truth in it, is actually insane because the accuser refuses to understand their own lie.

2 Timothy 3:1-3
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
[SUP]2 [/SUP]For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
[SUP]3 [/SUP]Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

All of you folks who keep repeating ad nauseam the same talking points about following and keeping the law, with your innumerable deceitful twistings of scripture, tortured rationalizations and smooth speech, are made to look like complete fools by the clear language of Acts 15 that proves gentiles were never under, nor commanded, to observe and keep the law of Moses. Quite the contrary because both James and Peter called such a burden.

But what do you do when confronted with its rebuke to your madness? You pile heaps of dirt and garbage on top of it to hide it (as well as every verse that witnesses against your perverse doctrine of death), and then climb on top to use that as your soapbox to continue proselytizing for your gospel of bondage.

Ya, they have to be completely lost. It's nauseating, twisted, foolish, contrary, madness, garbage, perverse, attempting to lead others into their own falsehood of distortion.

But what did Jesus say? Matthew 11:30, For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Which proves that Jesus' yoke is not the law of Moses, because Peter called that law an unbearable yoke.

So now why are you putting God to the test by placing on the neck of the disciples a yoke [of the law of Moses] that neither our fathers nor we have been able to bear? Acts 15:10

Being under the law is truly unbearable. To heavy for anyone to carry. Standing on top of it is much better as I wipe the sweat from my brow. LOL

It becomes bearable when you only pretend to keep it, or when you lower its perfect standards to the point that you can kid yourself that you are keeping it.

I forgot to add mocking self-righteousness to my list of law keeper attributes.

You do realize that I am agreeing with you in part. Your description is truly one of a hypocrite. Right?

if it nauseates a person seeing others sharing their experience in obedience. i think the person being nauseated needs a heart check. but i'll let Jesus be the Judge.

When it contradicts scripture, it's not obedience. It's the idolatry of imagined obedience.

This is true but the issue comes down to what does it mean to have faith in Him ???

For I have seen some who want to take and separate what He taught and commanded away from this faith, but Jesus Himself said those who believe in Him are the one's that "do" what He said.

Those who hear only but don't do He says their foundation is built on shaky ground and they will fall away !!!

I really don't care if people don't trust in what I say, but it is sad when they don't even trust in what our Lord said to do !!!
it means to trust him, and have assurance that what he said is true, As Abrahams example shows, He had faith that God was able to raise his son from the dead if he sacrificed him. That's faith. and Thats it.

Anything else is legalism and works theology, which is self motivated bloody rag giving spawn of the Devil

so why do people say it is so heavy and hard that we may not want to do it anymore and lose out?

That makes no sense at all.
