The problem you have VCO (the very conceited one?) is that God actually expects us to use our intelligence. He knows that because He is Spirit we will not expect Him to sit on a throne. This is picture language for our benefit. He knows that intelligent people will not think of a dragon, and a chain, and a bottomless pit. He realises that we will recognise that it means that he is tightly restrained. Some of you yanks miss so much because you are so tied up with the physical that you fail to understand the spiritual. You live in the Old Testament and do not really appreciate the freedom of the New, for you are so determined to make the New like the Old..
Now if you are talking about GOD the Father you are comparing HIS HEAVENLY KINGDOM TO an Earthly KINGDOM.
I YOU are talking about GOD the SON,
you are denying the physical resurrection and HIS physical return to Earth to reign from the THRONE OF DAVID, an Earthly KINGDOM.

5 [/SUP] And you shall flee to the valley of my mountains, for the valley of the mountains shall reach to Azal. And you shall flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah.
Then the LORD my God will come, and all the holy ones with him.

there shall be a unique day, which is known to the LORD, neither day nor night, but at evening time there shall be light.

On that day living waters shall flow out from Jerusalem, half of them to the eastern sea and half of them to the western sea. It shall continue in summer as in winter.

[SUP]
11 [/SUP] And it shall be inhabited, for there shall never again be a decree of utter destruction. Jerusalem shall dwell in security.
