Yes but that misses the whole point of the joke. The point of the joke was the guy is missing the whole point of going out to see the leaves.

I believe that Stanley Park is in Vancouver, BC.

We actually clap -- give God a bravo -- when we see a spectacular display on a tree. I's kind of like fireworks. We judge the beautiful ones, groan over the ugly ones (buttonwood), and clap for the spectaculars.

Hey i woke up to 59 degrees today with the ocean breeze briskly slapping me in the face!!! That's fall in Florida! Four hours later a beautiful 73!!! LOVE IT!!!!!!

I love the tropics..lived in Bermuda for some years. But my heart always wanted to be where the leaves turned color once a year. :)
