I love the tropics..lived in Bermuda for some years. But my heart always wanted to be where the leaves turned color once a year. :)
I totally understand! I LOVE THE FALL!!! I miss the colors, especially in areas like Mackinac Island. However I do not miss the snow. SO this time of the year I load the beast and we head to the mountains for some cooler mountain time.

Don't let that stop you, you get camera's that can accommodate "shaky hands" and if it can't get a tripod :D
Can't afford the camera. I'm more counting on my new doctor addressing the shaking hands thing. (Other problems too, that I hope all relate to what's going on, since I have no noticeable cause for aphasia either.)

I've been to Mackinac Island. Rode the carriage and ate some fudge. It was a drizzly late spring day. Michigan is quite colorful in the fall.

Here's some music that for me catches the atmosphere of autumn.

You should do the Tulip Festival in Michigan next Spring. It's beautiful and fun!

The first time I caught a flounder, I didn't know what flounders looked like alive. I thought they were typical looking fish. So when I saw this thing at the end of the line my mind kind of freaked and I wanted Dad to get that huge leach off my line.

I had a similar reaction to the wild hog. I've never seen a dead one before and my instant reaction was "that's the ugliest looking woodchuck or badger I've ever seen.

I've been in the city too long. Rats register. Wild hogs don't. lol
