Who is you favorite character? Besides the main three, my favorite is Severus Snape. He's just completely misunderstood. I also really liked Remus Lupin and was upset that we didn't get to see much of him after the third book. 
Least favorite character? I didn't really like James Potter, honestly. Being a Snape fan, I guess that was bound to happen. LOL We don't know much about him but from what I do remember in the books he was just a cocky jock.

I'm not saying this to judge anyone (that's not my job!), but I rented the first Harry Potter movie a few years back and 'tried' to watch it. I got about 20 minutes in, and felt uncomfortable with the content. That's my experience, and I haven't had any interest in the series since. I know and respect several Christians who see it differently, and that's okay.
In case you're wondering, I enjoy other somewhat-similar series such as LoTR and Star Wars, which also have witchcraft, so it was something about HP specifically. Then again, I couldn't get through The Matrix the first time either; not until a trusted friend explained the concept.

I absolutely LOVE Harry Potter. The books, the movies, YES! I actually watched the sorcerer's stone today too

Yeah I never got Harry and Ginny's relationship either. I'm glad there wasn't a lot of focus on it.
