She had every right to say I will not issue those licenses and quit the job. When she took on the government and courts she stepped out side if her personnel spiritual convictions.

When your rights violate someone else's rights and that's when we have a problem. She violated peoples civil rights and that's why she went to jail.
Separation of chirch and state. Separation of church's and schools. Christ said when you pray go into your closet not physically because prayer is spiritually talking to the Lord, and we don't talk into his ears as a human although we could pray as loud as permitted, but another scripture says, nothing shall offend the Godly. If you start finding fault with all offenses, then if your neighbor who's sits in a wheel chair and smokes dope in private, you wouldn't open the door for that person or help them if they fell out of the wheelchair, or dying refusing to call for help, then that is an offense to the Lord. Having a job and doing what you are paid to do, is being under someone's authority like your Boss, and that is scriptural. What she could of done is not make a public display of another's weakness of character,is pray and ask the Lord if it would be permissible to do this as she feels inher heart itis not right, or quit. Her job which is a losers way out. Just because someone says they are a Christian their story is not published, how long how deep, and are they themselves rooted I. The Lord, or LukewRm, I agree that this was an act of self righteousness, and there was no sin applied, as pertaining to a job. Attention seekers one way, and what about Jesus when the women was caught he let her go out of love and compassion when the law then said stone her to die, as they held their rocks,Jesus said if you are without sin then cast the first stone. We all fall short of Gods glory our purpose in life is not to go around withh bricks in hand, but show the scares of love and have mercy.

We all have the right to reject that this sexual perversion should be approved and promoted in our society... That's not imposing faith on anyone ..that's resisting deviant behavior
What about the middle east like Syria and Those who behead those who are mindfully mixed up of their gender or willing, do we start chopping heads off here too, if you talk out of hate towards an individual and not the offense Jesus said if you hate your brother then you are a murderer without chopping the head off. Dislike starts in a little way, So the word doesn't stand as in Jesus said I've come not to judge the world. These are personal decisions every one has a choice to decide what they want in this life, and it's a personal conviction from the holy spirit to them not from you or me.

And using the.chopping block of gay people as young as 12 murdering them both is a rightfully judgement of crimally murder. If Christ found fault with everyone and probably would and did that there would be no humans alive if that was by a law. Have agood day guys perverts is not a good thing to say about someone especially in the Lord says, stay in the fruit of the Holy spirit. They have their own judgement already and suffer from it, many have killed themselves from it, pray for them.

Did you hear anyone say they wanted to cut someones head off? I think that's a classic strawman...

No one who claims to love sinners (as Christ) will been seen to approve the sin they are bound with. Its by personal conviction (having the Holy Spirit) that we should tell them the truth about their sin and in no way be seen as to excuse or promote the sin that is killing them.

Or another way of joining in both sides of the debate is to say, to truly love people we need to love truly! We are to fan the flames of proper hate, and squelch the improper hate. Hating sin is proper, hating people is not! We are to love even our enemies, and the unlovely, Thus, to truly love people we need to hate the sin! And nurture the sinner.

I don't have to obey the law because I don't agree with it... Liberal philosophy
Anyone who disagrees with me is wrong and should be silenced....also liberal philosophy
My rights as an individual supersede the rights of the public.... another liberal philosophy.

A kind demeanor and a loyalty to the gospel can still be boldly and confidently given. Our Forefathers set forth the "Separation of Church and state, not to mean as it is stated today, it was more a Separation of State from Church. The right to expound upon not squelch the godly views of all. Today we align the world as the key role player in that statement. If the gospel has a harsh grind, so be it. But love need never leave it either. We must be after the facts of grace and not just the mercy of grace.

I find it difficult to understand those 'Christians' who uphold immorality in the name of civil rights over God's Law.
I find it hard to understand all the self righteous people here who think only Christians have rights. Or who think someone else is not a real Christian if they disagree. My faith in God and my religious convictions are for me and not for me to impose on others. Nowhere in the Bible are we instructed to do this. If they are doing something displeasing to God then they will face with it. It is neither my duty nor my responsibility to tell them what they can and cannot do.... I don't believe in gambling but you don't see me trying to stop people from buying lottery tickets because that's their business.
Isn't that called a red herring, never addressing my point, I like to call it smoke.
So how come you uphold immorality in the name of civil rights over God's Law?

I was with you until you said 'nurture', maybe 'minister to' would have been better.
But I don't see homosexuality as the root problem here but the ungodly legal mindset of countries that condone gay marriage.

As Discipler's we are to walk alongside people who heed the word as opposed to need the Word, Ministry comes in Ministering to all people, nurturing comes from parenting or discipling people who have chosen to heed His Word, even, yet, before regeneration. Nurturing constitutes two things: One we love them unconditionally, and two; we invest in those who are passing on the torch sort of speak. But all people get our planting of seed and love as well.

Countries are what? Government, what does the Word call our Government to be ruled by? Are we to go after the Satanic ruled Government of the world, or are we to win the hearts and minds of individuals back to God man by man, woman by woman- one righteous true representation unto the next, in our integrity of God's included integrity in us in honoring the Gospel as is?

It was clearly unconstitutional, even as the other SC judges called it the most unconstitutional act the supreme court has ever taken.
Actually, it was quite constitutional. And now it's the law. Deal. If she can't, then she needs to excuse herself from the position.

It was a political act by the court and many continue to resist, the conservatives will soon have both houses of congress and the white house and can change this evil brought against our nation. She done said she is not stepping down and the people that elected her want her there...so ...it appears she won the first battle :)

She was released from jail under the condition that she does not interfere with any legal marriage licensing. If she interferes then she goes right back to jail

She was released because they could not hold her and could not fire her.... and its clear she was not going to approve any perversion called gay marriage ...they had to change the rules...she did not change
