If you think Christ is/was a lamb then it is you who are demeaning and blaspheming God. God is not an animal. It is clearly a metaphor.

It seems to me that you are seeing the bible as simply a book written by men, rather then a spiritual read. It takes the Holy Spirit to interpret the bible because the Holy Spirit is Who it is written by.

The simplicity that we have in Christ is that we walk by faith and by doing so the Holy Spirit sheds the love of God in our hearts (Rom 5:5). Their is no striving in that and no sweaty effort to keep the law, just an attitude of faith-rest in God's promises. Doing righteousness is trusting God, acknowledging him in all our ways and leaning not to our own understanding (Prov 3:5-8). This is how we keep the law and not depart from the commandments.
