Father in heaven, please bless my friend shiney k with your love and grace, Lord. She has things on her mind that only you and her know about, but that's such good news, Father, that you know, and you are there to go through these things with her, that she never has to be alone, or be without your hand to hold her, and your wisdom to guide her. And so I pray for that right now, Lord, that you give her wisdom and clarity of thought, and peace in her heart with you, Jesus. If she has things that are troubling her, Father, it's only because she has a thoughtful, caring heart, and a spirit that seeks the best for others, and joy to share, and that's a daughter with a heart for you, Father God, so bless and hold her close, let her sense your Holy Spirit alongside and within, and bless her with joy and peace in Jesus' name, amen.

Must be difficult. I haven't been in that situation and I don't know how it feels but my prayers are with you.

Thank you, Tintin. The problem is that I cannot cut ties with them as that would affect my parents. Not unless I move cities.

Honestly this is why I'm nervous and uncomfortable at the idea of going to Church regularly. Also just because I don't go doesn't mean I don't monitor myself and focus on the straight and narrow.

But I mean, that sounds like a rough situation to be put in Roh...as long as you feel you're straight with the Lord and continuing to grow in Him, there can be some refuge in that aside from how others feel about you. Also reminded of Jesus telling those people to render unto Cesar that which is Cesar's, basically saying, "don't rock the boat." They don't want you to wear denim? Wear some pj bottoms. Kidding. Wear whatever they want you to wear. I have a suspicion this goes past the denim though, as you said you try to make everyone happy. I don't know if that's possible though.

I'm beginning to regret starting this No-Shave November thing last month lol. But alas, my friends and I started this tradition in hs and it must continue.

Ha ha, seriously. Someone actually got pretty upset over it and I didn't find out until later. I thought it was really clear that I was joking.....especially when I brought up plotting for world domination. Don't take me seriously Womenz.

I have to admit, I was pretty shocked by this.

I don't really follow much of this but I have to admit to being a closeted Ronda fan (though I suppose you can consider this my coming out.)

This is why I don't have a Church. Clothing is even specifically addressed in James 2:3 and says not to have respect of persons when it comes to Church dress. I do want to be anywhere near that type of congregation. Not that I am any better than them because we are all sinners but this type of stuff drives me crazy. I can not be around people like that.

I have been looking for a small local Bible Study group and I believe that will turn out well. I am not holding my breath on finding a Church though

and ROH. I am really sorry you have to put up with this kinda stuff and I know you are hanging in there for your parents. Ill pray for you
