When using contractions people have stopped using them,online anyway. Also I see cursive writing is a thing of the past.Sometimes I put the apostrophe in if I have the time.But when writing in a hurry I would write "dont". That being said I would usually write "I'd" and "they're" since that is what I've grown up with. I see a lot of people aren't using capitalization anymore either.I think it's all due to texting.So I feel old when I use apostrophes in contracted words. lol
You are a teacher? I learned something new about you. I have great respect for teachers,I takes a lot of talent to keep kids attention. You really have to have a love for children.
As I said earlier, I pretty much overlook it on this particular forum. But, it has always staggered me how many people have no qualms, whatsoever, about appearing to be stunted third-grade dropouts when it comes to not only writing, but to their speech, also.
I can't count the number of employment applications I have just dumped into the "File 13" because the applicants didn't care enough to present an acceptable attempt at showing who they were.

I've always wondered why the edit time is so short.I only edit when I think people wont understand what I'm saying. Also my cursor is very sensitive.It skips around the page.I'll be at the end of a sentence and it will skip to the paragraph above. Something I'm hitting also erases everything I've written.Very annoying. Its a Dell and was quite expensive so I dont know if its just me or something in the settings. I also write early in the mornings after hubby goes to work and Im still in bed half asleep.So maybe I should wake up before writing.lol

Lots of people have this problem on a lot of laptops. 99% (give or take) of the time, the palms are making contact with the touchpad while typing, causing the cursor to move and register input/clicks. If your laptop has a quick toggle for the touchpad, the easiest solution is to disable the touchpad while typing, and re-enable it when you need to navigate.
Well I did open myself up didn't I? Lesson being don't use your cell phone when posting about spelling and grammar. However you did not correct me, well, correctly. The first two posts are not grammar errors, they are informal writing. When I critique someone for not using the kings English feel free to rail on me. The third one was intended to be: "But thanks for combing my posts to find the ONE grammar error."

My point was not to make fun of her but to point out that she seems barely literate, and should not be attacking my knowledge of the bible when she clearly has not read much of it herself. But regardless you are correct that I was being petty and childish and I apologize profusely.
I have a husband and daughter I take of, plus on occasion real life takes over. The people who administer this website can easily look at my IP number and tell if I am logging in from the same location as a banned user, which is probably why I wasn't auto-banned right away. I also do eventually get bored with threads and move on. If that makes you feel like you've "won" then knock yourself out. I also would not listen to a professional troll like Mitzpa, who thinks his gut feelings are the same as evidence.
I explained to Shamrocker in chat, and this is what she is not sharing, that as a child I was a victim of extreme physical and sexual abuse and I had to fight for years to get a lot of images off the internet. I have also had issues with stalkers, ergo I am very cagey about having images online I cannot control. I also have to think of my families safety with regards to the stalker. I never said I wouldn't use my mic ever, I merely don't feel like it at the moment. Why she needs to see or hear me so badly I have no idea...perhaps she is attracted to Irish girls.

That's funny considering I put my post through spell and grammar checker and it found one mistake I made and three you made. But I'm the one that is illiterate. No,you don't like I stand up to you so you attack me personally.It's ok, it's a liberal trick,they all use it when they think they are losing the argument or looking bad. They attack the person when they run out of arguments.
Shammy, irregardless of your dislike for me, if you have been abused in your past I'm very sorry to hear that.I don't have children but I have two nephews I'd give my life for.I do not know what I'd do if someone abused them. I fear I would not be seeing the light of day for a long time.So I'm sorry that was your experience.I hope you are finding healing. I believe I will leave it there.

That's has already found a way to change IP addressed about a half-dozens times now? Then im sorry if I allowed logic and reason to override the possibility that by chance we have a different user. I mean its possible ..but im still thinking ...if its walks like and duck... etc
