BAHAHAHA you're so full of yourself. You see, in France we do taxes right. The rich are taxed more than the middle income and poor income families. And no, there is no 90% tax for some...LOL! The most anyone get's hit with is 50% and that's for the insanely rich.
Yeah, you pay so and so a month...but how much is your deductible? I know you don't get free healthcare for only paying $34.90 a month.
I can't believe you are even going to say that you have superior insurance compared to me...please, just stop with that. I can find you THOUSANDS of list's and a lot of data that places France as number 1 for the best health insurance in the world. The US is ranked around 37th or 36th...so no, you don't have superior health insurance compared to me. Don't believe me, go look it up.

Oh and it isn't the employee paying for healthcare in France...it's the employer. When someone is hired, the company pays a net amount to the employee but then also pays into the sécu...so, unless there are retired expats paying into the system or someone has a lot of money and they aren't working but are paying into the system, then the employees themselves don't pay for it...the employment does. We then have mutuelle's but those are only 20 euros a month. And while some income taxes are used for the health insurance, a large majority of it ISN'T. Do NOT even try to argue with me about this, I live and work here, and I've had an extensive class, with other expats, so we can learn about how it all works because French taxes, sécu, et cetera is quite complicated.
Beside the great healthcare here, France has a high amount of paid maternity leave...the only thing most women have in the US is job security, if they fall under certain categories that is. I think less than 5% of women in the US has paid maternity leave...
Great, go to South or Central America...(even though it is arguable about Panama being North or Central America) but great on you. Of course they want you there, they want your money honey...because they're poorer countries. Not sure when you last worked with visa's but a lot has changed in the past 15 years...so...
