I know!!! That's what I'm saying!! lol But geez... I keep getting the "are you crazy...?" and "Who does that...? " looks....

HEEEEELLLLLOOOOO!!!! lol Ugh... I am so glad someone else understands that....other than me of course. ;)

From what I understand, the wild birds that Americans know as turkeys and the wild birds that Australians know as turkeys actually are not closely related, and American wild turkeys can grow quite large.

People call me crazy all the time, and by a normal person's standards.....I am. Normal people don't have a lot of fun. They are too busy punching the clock and not standing up for themselves when their boss berates them for no reason. Crazy is a compliment :p. Normal isn't an ideal worth striving for IMO

Very well said... I feel better now... Not that i was... you know... worried or scared of what other people think of me cause it's taken me a looooooooooooooong time to bust outta my shy shell and be who God created me to be!

Whether that's helping someone.... Or just putting smiles on everyone's faces. I am crazy... I am funny... I am Unique... I am loved. :D
 
Just got home from a cerimony thing in the Navy... it was beautiful... and there was an abundance of people in uniforms... it was nice!!! *.*

Glad to hear that. I didn't really bust out of my shell until my early 20's myself. Hard to come to grips with the fact that you can be happier and have a better life for yourself by NOT thinking and behaving as everyone else does. Herd mentality really sucks :p.

Hehe... agreed!

Funny thing is... I have noticed... the older I get... the more I become more comfortable in my own skin... It's like I was trying to be someone who I'm not for so long, trying to fit in with the crowd.. Wowzers..... big mistake that was...

But anyways. I am glad you did the same thing, it's nice being yourself isnt it? ;)

Actually using growth hormones in poultry or pork is prohibited in the US, it's only approved for use in beef.

Most commercially available turkeys were specifically bred over a period of time for their size. In reality they grow so large that they cannot breed in the normal fashion, they have to be artificially inseminated.

Yes, it is :p. I'm only a year older than you but I am so looking forward to my 30's. Have enough life experience to live my own life, rather than being a teenager wondering what kind of life Im supposed to live and having other people constantly tell me what I should be doing. Now I don't care what other people think I should be doing. I eat ice cream for breakfast and lucky charms for dinner, I do what I want :p

Just as long as you eat some real food somewhere in your day... then you should be good...

Oh I eat real food all the time. Bacon, potato chips, nutty bars. Its a lot more than just ice cream and cereal :p
