There have been many traditional threads lately and seeing how it was bugging mitspa I couldn't help but to mess with him:b I love you bro but I just had to mess with ya
So umm.... traditional is a new concept I have learned actually now that I think about it I know of a few traditional Christians they don't like me much and are the types who are very stern. Like they are really into old time Christian values like Black cats are evil and even the word dang is blasphemy to them and they are the kind of ppl who put their own beliefs first even if they might be wrong.
So I am not really able to discuss things about God with them because they are not open minded, the problem with being strictly traditional is that it shuts the door of understanding things from a different perspective which could lead to them being stuck in their own views and never learning the truth of a matter.
You know it's kind of funny I originally made this thread to mess with my friend but now I am really diving deep into the tradition topic lol.
Speaking of Tradition I saw a movie called Christmas with the kranks, this man (tim allen) and his wife decided to skip Christmas and the neighborhood and co workers at his work did NOT like that one bit. But what I saw in this movie is that they were much more upset about not holding traditions than they were about Christmas itself the real reason for Christmas.
This really impacted me, it seems like Christmas is no longer about Christs birth among the secular world. Traditions are more important to ppl than the reason behind the season
