**facepalm..........it is ALREADY near impossible for private citizens to own AUTOMATIC weapons. Albeit it is not impossible, the licensing process and fees through the BATF in order to be able to purchase and possess automatic weapons keeps most persons outside of gun dealers from even attempting.
Maybe in your area but not in all states.

I know people who legally own automatic guns, and besides that point that is what Obama said.
The National Firearms Act of 1934 (Federal) made the purchase and transfer of ownership of automatic weapons highly difficult. Under current rules anyone purchasing an automatic weapon has to undergo an extensive FBI background (including looking for propensities to violence) and an annual tax is paid for every automatic weapon in a person's ownership.

The Firearms Ownership Protection Act of 1986 prohibits the purchase of automatics manufactured after the enactment of the law by civilians. Only automatics manufactured prior to that date remain in private circulation.

These are NOT state or local laws, they are Federal thus they hold throughout all 50 states and US territories.

Yes but again they can still purchase them, it does not say they can't.

Obama wants it to where they can't be owned at all...

Why do you want guns banned?
Well that's rather simple. They're evil machines that were made by pagans and the origin of gunpowder is even inspired by demons tricking pagans into trying to find the elixir of immortality (spoiler alert: they were lied to and the gun came into existence instead.) I don't just want them banned, I want them to be turned into dust.

Or if you want it in the simple version; too many of my people getting shot.

Time to deal with the problems. It's been put off too long. Just look at Obama, his whole speech is basically boiled down to he ain't gonna do crap about guns and islam. I'm done with these politicians that don't do anything right. I'm about done with this government all together. I'll give them one last chance with this upcoming election to put in someone that will do what is right. If they don't even move to try to get rid of the guns and islam then they're useless. There's just no point in having a government that won't do anything and that refuses to protect the people, and even insolently brags to our faces about coddling our enemies.

everyone should have the right to defend themselves but at the same time we don't want a bunch of trigger happy Yahoos running around turning this into the next Wild West....or cities becoming the next Mogadishu when they police need to come in and quell riots. imagine someone who's been up on some meth for about a week carrying a firearm.I think it's pretty safe to assume that there are a lot of loonies out there who do not need a gun.....the right to carry a gun should come only after extensive background checks and extensive training.
That only happens where they have outlawed guns..have you not noticed that?

**shrugs

Anyone who really wants an automatic weapon with limited skills and tools (a couple of metal files) can easily create one. All it takes is filing down the trigger sear on a semi-automatic weapon. I had a friend of mine in my early 20's who did this accidentally while doing a "trigger job" which is intended to improve the trigger pull characteristics. He had to go buy a new sear and start over.

Of course the penalties are such that law abiding citizens aren't about to do it because the fines run above $100,000 and lengthy mandatory prison sentences.

PS.....completely removing all legally owned automatic weapons from private circulation won't change crime stats at all since they have NEVER been linked to criminal use. Even crime syndicates
in the US which get their weapons from international illegal gun dealers specializing in hard to get weapons rarely use them because the penalties are so stiff.

Lol good attempt to twist it. The discovery of the use of gunpowder was inspired by demons. Look into it. Who discovered gunpowder and its uses and why? If you actually looked into history you would find out it was some demon worshipping eastern pagans looking for the elixir of immortality.

As for the Constitutional "rights" argument, that's hilarious, then we'd have to allow islam to run amok. Nope, sorry, too many problems caused by the US Constitution heresy. Either we deal with these problems now or it's time to throw the government out and burn the Constitution because it's become too harmful to the people and is being used to shield evil.

Top red highlight: Who's "my people"?

Bottom red highlight: Hence why law abiding citizens need guns.

Top highlight: My people the common folk and the Christians.

Bottom highlight: Hence why we need to eradicate the devil's bow and arrow from the face of the earth. If this government will not, then it's time to get rid of them and replace them or just totally abolish America. Even if it means we must take Trump seeing as he's the only one speaking about being willing to crackdown on both guns and islam.

If we dismantle all nuclear weapons, we still have the knowledge to build them again. That knowledge is here to stay. Same with guns. Guns are a necessary evil for Christians, patriots and law abiding citizens to have in order to keep evil people and evil, tyrannical governments in check. Guns are here to stay until Christ's return. Its that simple.

We need to get rid of nukes too! There is no such thing as a necessary evil, that's just a lie to beguile the weak minded into accepting evil. As for guns being around until Christ's return, not too sure about that one. Seems to me the Bible indicates we'll be back to swords and horses for the end times. Find one mention of the gun in the Bible and I'll reconsider. It's that simple.

Did you not read what I said ???

I agree we put the Taliban and Al-Qaeda in their place.

The thing is though each time we take one out a stronger faction comes into play.

The stronger Al-Qaeda came out when the Taliban was weakened, and Isis comes after Al-Qaeda was weakened.

What some do not realize is every time we interfere over there more Muslims each time get pissed.

Going into a war is exactly what they want because it will draw more to their cause. There is big to major populations of Muslims in every country now.

You do realize their Quran states the final war that brings forth the return of their prophet is started by the west invading their countries in war ???
sure I read what you said. And my point was under Bush, a semi conservative, we had Al Queda and the Taliban pretty well contained until Mr. Brotherhood took office and it all unravelled.
It's the Shi'ites that believe that Apocalypse you described, not the Sunnis.

I looked it up and they said anyone who believes that is crazy :( and yes the 2nd Amendment of the constitution is a constitutional rights argument ..that I have sworn to defend against all enemies, both foreign and domestic...
