This was my question and you quoted Paul.
You have a choice. You can either believe obedience to Christ is to obey each and every one of his literal commands. In which case every Christian I have ever known is in disobedience to Christ's teaching, including I am sure you. Or, you can see that Christ's teaching can be summed up as love God and love your neighbour. Obviously that is how Paul viewed it, hence Gal 6:2

You see this is my problem, you keep on quoting me Paul. What if I am a Jew and you are giving me the gospel, what will you teach me? Paul?! I wouldn't believe in Paul so give me some meat on the bone from the OT...
That is ridiculous post, but thank you for it. You are certainly showing why you have the errant views you do

So the meat on the bone of the new covenant does not come from the person charged with explaining it, but rather the old covenant.

Yeah, if I want to talk about the new covenant I tend to chat about what the person wrote charged with explaining it

If I have to accept the teachings of Paul I must understand that he will never contradicts Yeshua. If he does he is a false prophet. The word of God will always explain the word of God because there is nothing new and unconfirmed in the word of God. Always two witnesses, so if you tell me something contradicting the rest of the Bible from one witness I will tell you you don't understand or that witness is a false prophet. Your choice.

Ok James, can I ask you a question. Do you believe Jesus was born from a virgin and if so why?

Romans 3:28-31 (NASB)
[SUP]28 [/SUP] For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law.
[SUP]29 [/SUP] Or is God the God of Jews only? Is He not the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also,
[SUP]30 [/SUP] since indeed God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith is one.
[SUP]31 [/SUP] Do we then nullify the Law through faith? May it never be! On the contrary, we establish the Law.

It is obvious that the law is established by our faith in Christ..and in Him alone./But then again it's Paul saying it..so we are stuck in that loop again..do we only look to what Jesus said while He was here in the flesh..or do we look at what Jesus said through Paul in the spirit?

I would say we look at both...but we need to rightly divide the covenants. The Old Covenant is a goner!

Hebrews 8:13 (NASB)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] When He said, "A new covenant," He has made the first obsolete. But whatever is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to disappear.

The good news here guys..is that there is a lot of controversy about who wrote this book..if it wasn't Paul...we can believe it!

Just sayin'

You are trying really hard here to shift away from Paul. But then, you have already told us you do not need his teaching, therefore, you believe you only need half the books of the NT.

Paul explained how to live according to Love God and love your neighbour, show me where he didn't?

Yes, Jesus was born from a virgin, so he came into this world
without human passion, but by the Holy Spirit coming upon mary.

However, I thought you were going to discuss Paul, seems not

Unless you believe you are Israel (like I do) you are actually barking up the wrong tree here friend because of verse 10

Heb 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

Don't be silly Gandalf.

His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit

All you are trying to do is deflect away from discussing Paul's message, a message given to him by chrisdt himself to preach. Reject Paul's message, reject what Christ wants you to know

I am not deflecting anything but I tell you that the word of God will not contradicts itself... and never ever contradicts what God or Jesus said. Not even through the Holy Spirit. If it does we are in error brother.

Yes, and your beliefs have led you into huge error

For instance, according to your beliefs you believe a person can be in open rebellion against God without conscience and be a Christian brother or sister.

As you know, under the old covenant each and every literal command under it had to be followed. You freely admit under the new covenant that is not the case(not just about animal sacrifices)

Now you would not call that God contradicting his word would you, neither would I. I am sure you are consistent in your beliefs

What you are explaining to me is change.

The Word of God was the same since day 1 brother. We can see Yeshua in the OT time and time again. Yeshua lived the perfect life without Paul's teachings :) so can we. He taught us the perfect love and grace by living the law. Should we fear the law? I don't think so.

I am sure you don't object to your views being reitterated:confused:

I never said that and if it came across like that it was not the intension. I said that the law was not written for only one group of people; for example there are certain things that the priests had to do that was not necessary for normal people.

Certain things men had to do, not necessary for women... but surely you knew this?

We don't need animal sacrifice because of the perfect sacrifice that died for our sins.

Brother if you don't understand please ask me but don't make false allegations. That is rude :)

Apart from animal sacrifices have you not made plain your view not all OT law is in effect today? Yes you have. Something about various laws for various times. Now you don't want me to scroll through to repost them do you?
