Are Sex Offenders a liability to Churches?

A person also gets labled a sex offender crime just simply by deciding to urinate in public only...and somebody sees it and reports.. And you acknowledging your comments earlier is showing you're flip flopping on what you said.. Not all should be banned from the church but you want each one killed... How can one go to church to repent if he's shot and killed? I know you're speaking a lot from experience which is why you're feeling what you feel, but it's clouding your judgement and thinking.

I'm not usually ashamed of saying I am a Christian, except for when I read threads like this one, or the hateful ones about homosexuals.

You're not allowing those that want to change to doso if you take ALL offenders outback and shoot them. You're on record for saying that. That is two completely opposite sides, Blue. You're better than that. You can't say one thing and say the complete opposite.

Like I keep saying, that is just MY PERSONAL OPINION. Get that through your brain. If you want to take a chance a pedo can change, good on you. Maybe they can, maybe they can't. If they don't have God, they can't. Would I like to see pedos and rapists punished? Definitely. Everyone who has a family member who's been molested wants punishment. There's pedos and rapists on death row, who have been there for decades. What rehab are they getting? None at all. Do I literally want sex offenders rounded up and shot? NO. Am I angry that they dare to fiddle little kids? Definitely. If the govt had any sense at all, they WOULD mandatorily monitor these sickos 24-7. Maybe Jesus has tolerance and love for pedos, but I do not.

If they WANT to change, then good. Wish 'em the best of luck. For the ones who don't or can't, I pity their souls, because if they don't change and repent, they have a special place reserved in hell.

Now we're getting somewhere when you say monitoring. Like I said earlier.. Jesus immediately knows a deceiver and a genuine sinner wanting to repent. Sometimes, we don't. When you say comments like you did earlier, you're implying that's what you want done.

Perhaps you should chose your words - and facts - more carefully. Something I've pointed out and tried to encourage you to do, but to no avail.

Sigh. I'm tired of coming here and reading what amounts to verbal sandpaper.

The thing is though Blue is that personal opinions should not override or go against God's way either.

And this post is exactly why we can't or aren't supposed to voice our feelings and opinions on here. Cuz people take offense and jump on their high horses. I don't mean you, jsr. People here in general. :/

But that's why it's important to choose our words clearly rather than letting them be guided by emotion.

I was not talking about their opinion, I was talking about your opinion.

How we feel should be in line with God. If our treatment towards others does not fall under love, mercy, and forgiveness we are not abiding in Christ !!!

It's been happening to everyone else on any other thread.. Not just this one. Why do you think I've finally said forget it and I'm standing up for myself more? Not directed at you but just saying too many people twist things and there comes to a point where you only allow so much.
