1. It's self-explanatory by the definition of the word conservative.
2. The Bible, especially the Gospels pretty much testifies against all nations and the whole world. Don't be moved to the left or the right it is written. Consider the silver-lining. We agree the leftists are no good so you got it half-right so far. Plus you ain't dead yet, so why be chained down and limit yourself to a small group of politicians whom frankly I'd probably vote for you, Sydlitt, Mitspa, Ladybug, Bushido, Desdichado, and the rest of the CC political crowd over the majority of these politicians of both parties any day. I'm starting to understand your misunderstanding. I, and my fellow conservatives are most definitely not chained down to any politician. We vote our conscience, not our wallets and pocketbooks and definitely not individuals. I will never vote for a pro-abortionist; I will never vote for someone soft on crime; I will never vote for a socialist, etc... I don't care if it was a family member, if they were running for office and held those views, I wouldn't vote for them.

There is no "conservative" party ...? There is a Republican party that claims to be conservative, but is full of establishment phonies.
Why stay in a place for the rest of your life you're so miserable in, though? I'd say leave also. And America has already reached that point in the hand basket.

I unfortunately don't see that happening any time soon because we the people are pretty much at fault for allowing all of this to start even in the first place. Maybe you have a higher confidence in our fellow man and woman, but I just don't see it happening any time soon.

Chances are the opposite will take place. The day Texas secedes is the day there will be a mass exodus of conservatives to Texas. And on that day, freedom, liberty, integrity and the open display of love for God and faith in Jesus Christ will reign supreme. And we shall sit back and watch the downfall of socialist America become complete.

Never said anything about giving up. But there's being blind and then there's being realistic. The country needs to become a Christian nation, and there's no evidence that shows it's going to be happening anytime soon.
