Real Clear Politics has head to head polls showing Rubio to be the strongest candidate against Hillary. Rubio is a strong candidate. Hillary fears him the most.

I read where there are over 3 million newly registered Hispanic voters in Texas since Obama took office. Democrats will likely receive 75%+ of their votes. That is the demographics of next years election. Not just in Texas, but in over a dozen states that Republicans would have to win. Maybe, they should concentrate on not losing majorities in Congress.

The problem the Republican party will have if it nominates Rubio, would be that Trump won't accept being snubbed and will run as an independent and take voted from Rubio. I don't think anyone is showing polling results for a three-way election. We can all guess the results.
I don't see much difference between Rubio and Cruz.
True, Trump would pull a double cross because it is all about Trump, he doesn't give a rat's --- 'bout the welfare of this nation.

The Republican Party is in the middle of committing suicide.

At a time when the Republicans SHOULD sweep the 2016 General Elections, and keep their majority on BOTH the House and the Senate, AND WIN the Presidency, they are on the cusp of losing the Senate, and the Presidency, and ONCE AGAIN being relegated to a Party of no worth.

The "civil war" going on in the Republican Party (as is evidenced even here on CC) will assure that the American Socialist Party will gain even more power/influence in 2016.

IF they DO NOT get it together, the Republican Party (by 2020) will be a permanent "Minority Party" with no hope of ever gaining control of Congress or the White House for years/decades to come.

They have ONLY THEMSELVES to blame.
They don't have the Senate now...wait...they DO have the Senate now!!! But they sure don't act like it!!!!

Billy Graham once said: "If America does not get on it's knees and repent soon, God will have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah"....There is no man from any "party" that can fix what ails this country. What is transpiring here in America is the results of man trying to run himself. We are in the days of 2 Timothy 3:1-5 "Godlessness in the Last Days".....We are in a season of great change. The downfall of this once great nation rests on the shoulders of a Church that has become drunk on the wine of indifference. We have forgotten that the battle belongs to the Lord. It will only be through a sackcloth and ashes repentance on the part of the Church, for failing to fulfill the mandate set before us in Scripture, that will cause God to stay His hand and not completely judge this nation. There is judgement coming, whether we like it or not. It can be curtailed if we lay our arrogance at the foot of the Throne of Mercy and repent....." If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and forgive their sin and will heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14.....Without cutting the cord of the principality that feeds the strongman over Washington, we will only be sending in sheep to be slaughtered.....God's judgement will be His mercy. We have not done what he has asked us to do. We failed to judge ourselves and ask for mercy. In our arrogance we say; "God won't judge us" heed this word..... "But if we judged ourselves rightly,we should not be judged. But when we are judged, we are disciplined by the Lord in order that we may not be condemned along with the world." 1Cor. 11:31-32.....

The mess the party is in , is because the establishment folks have made it a mess .... The Tea Party types have won the congress..both houses and will win the White house if a real conservative with a real backbone is nominated ...If they try to railroad Trump because they cant beat him in a fair fight ..they have destroyed the party ...and the fact is that all the candidates beat Hillary ...and all the poll show a increase in the House and Senate for conservatives.... so the only problem is the establishment folks are losing power and have folks manipulated into thinking we need these clowns like McCain and Romney to win...it a lie and its a proven lie.

How many Tea Party members are there? Three dozen? Four dozen?

I must be looking at the wrong polls. Where are you finding polls showing all Republican candidates beat Hillary? I can't find them. I've been looking at Real Clear Politics and the assortment of polls they post. Only Fox is showing Trump beating Hillary.

Trump will beat Hilary with no problem ... if the Republicans support him and stop attacking him. Not to mention that the FBI investigation into her E-mails grows everyday ...

Millions of Tea Party types ..the fact that you would ridicule them proves your just a establishment .....

The establishment Republicans don't care if Hilary wins and destroys the country ...she believes the same thing they do...what they care about is all those government Jobs and contracts they wont get to deal out to their establishment friends ... They had rather see her in office than a honest conservative.

Lol the FOX news poll ain't trustworthy, none of them are. Only the primary polls matter lol. Though I do think indeed Trump, if he holds strong to being willing to do some common sense gun control and scattering and stopping the islam problem then he may be able to beat Hillary. Really him standing strong, particularly against islam makes him that more appealing to the undecided voters or those who weren't really even paying attention to the politics to begin with. Maybe they're not totally decided, but Trump sticking strong on it, especially with all the heat from the leftists and conservatives show he can handle these people and not let them sway him. It's not really that hard to figure out.

Yea almost always the conservatives do much better than the polls... and I think most understand that Fox is far more honest than these other groups. Trump don't plan on any gun-control that I know of? Maybe get rid of some of these silly gun laws that only arm criminals while they disarm the honest folks.

Lol I wanna know how many people they polled and from where. If it's not all of them it's not legit.

Yes Trump does plan some gun control, you are coming around to it too, the instance of him agreeing with Obama about banning guns of people on no-fly list. Indeed, Trump won't take everyone's guns away, but I think Trump might be the only one that's not a democrat that can resist the NRA and do some common sense gun control.

i agree that those who don't care about liberty should leave the republican party...the trump supporters need to get their own party instead of trying to hijack an existing one...

regarding what they could name it...trump's party could be called the 'national socialist party'...'national' because of their nativist and xenophobic and jingoist sentiment...and 'socialist' because of their delight over proposals that expand the size and reach of government...

Good grief, I sure hope you are not saying that Trump is a Tea Party person.............he is as "establishment" as it gets. Spend some time reviewing his political history as to donations and support given and his statements on various issues.

Yup, the establishment has done a lot of damage to the Party, however, they are not alone in this. The ultra conservative bigots have done just as much to minimize the Party and it's appeal to Independents and Minorities which they need to actually win General Elections.

As for Tea Party winning Congress, they won some seats, BUT THEY HAD ESTABLISHMENT FINANCIAL SUPPORT during their campaigns. Sooooo

Trump may well win the Nomination, and it will be a truly sad day for this Nation, and a disaster IF he should win the General Election. There is an old adage, which is very, very true:

BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR.....................

Trump IS NOT giving the Party BACK to the people, Trump is GAMING the system to advance HIS BRAND. Trump ain't doing ONE DARN THING for you or me............EVERYTHING he does is for HIM. And NOW he is even speaking of himself in the "third person." Seriously?

Trump is the only candidate, democrat or republican to point out the insanity of the direction of this nation. The establishment folks have sold us out...our borders are wide open...our good jobs are being sent overseas, more and more, PC has made the whole nation drunk with liberal ignorance... Our whole society is being changed to a multi-cultural mess that insures the destruction of our Protestant foundations. Our leaders are stupid and a systematic cycle of stupidity in our government has been promoted by both parties...We cant even get a wall built on our border .. Both parties are bought and paid for by special interest.... Trump could not possible do worse than the establishment folks that have been running things..thats clear!

1) That is not true, other Candidates have also spoken about this very often.

2) Our Nation HAS BEEN a multi-cultural mess SINCE IT'S FOUNDING............It is specifically because of our Judea Christian values/roots that the First Amendment came into being. Your vision of America is more akin to the KKK than the Original Intent of the Founding Fathers. I'll support them, not the Klan.

3) I have no argument concerning the establishment politicians on both sides.........they (for the most part) aren't worth their salt, and they both have caused great harm to our Nation.

4) I do not think you Trump supporters have given thought PAST the end of your noses........or, your passions. Let us say, for the sake of argument, that Trump wins the nomination, and then wins the General Election, and is sworn in as President.

W-H-A-T T-H-E-N ?

Do you honestly believe that the Congress will WORK WITH Trump to enact ANY of his stuff? Do you honestly believe Trump will do ANY of the things he pontificates about? How would he go about this WITHOUT the support of Congress AND the Courts?

You guys truly need to give some serious thought to the big picture, and stop the knee jerk reactions based on passion.

it is kind of hard to take your accusation of 'left wing talking points' seriously when my views are well to the -right- of your practice of cheering for every one trump's proposals to expand and empower government...

gaining the support of a roughly 30% fringe and using extortion to demand equal treatment with legitimate candidates is not 'taking the party back to the people'...it is corrupting the nomination process...

this 'establishment' you keep referring to is just an imaginary villain invented by the fringe so you have someone to blame for the endless stream of political and electoral failures you keep bringing on yourselves...

your reference to 'back room deals' is amusing because trump has been making back room deals all his life...including back room deals with those liberals...

unfortunately this is impossible for trump supporters...they are irrational and deceived and spiritually blinded...
