OK - photos I take from my phone tend to post sideways...
This is a thrift store haul from earlier in the week:
1. A paper cutter - to use with patterns I create in my stained glass work
2. A glass candle holder - I may put a mirror base on the upper box and resell. It has a nice rose etched in one of the beveled sides. Once sold, it will more than pay for itself and will have provided me with a fun side project. I'll also use the one beveled piece on the base that does not have engraving. Repurposing thrift store glasswork is kind of fun!.
3. A cookbook of one-pot cooking
4. A book entitled "American Roots Music" - includes histories of blues, zydeco, country & western, gospel, etc.
5. A book of Escher's mind blowing art
6. A two foot tall blue nutcracker - been wanting one for years!
7. Two blue (can you tell that I like blue?) martini style glasses with contemporary striped etchings.
This put me back about $40.
