that must be why 60%-70% of his own party doesn't support him...

but why am i even bothering to use facts on people who have sold their souls?
Actually between the real conservatives ..who basically agree with Trump and reject the establishment candidates ...the moderates have about ten percent of the support ... Trump..Cruz.. Rubio..Carson ..have at least 85% of the support ... The folks want a real conservative..not another McCain or Romney or even a Bush....a real deal conservative with a backbone.

The Right should consider it a massive victory that we have the establishment running to Marco Rubio for help. That was unthinkable in 2012.

Even the moderates in our party are starting to understand that if they want to win, they ought to pivot Right.

Cruz has been working for this exact thing since he was first elected. At that time, Trump was still a Democrat........just saying

Yes, but the critical difference is that Trump accomplished the same thing to a greater affect at a more critical time.

All Trump has accomplished is to enhance his own Brand. Other than that, he is doing nothing more than playing to the fears and/or bias of the public. Trump is only interested in the promotion of Trump, and he doesn't care who he harms along the way. He has operated this way his entire career. His four filings of bankruptcy which left many people on the hook for millions and millions of dollars while he walked away laughing at how well he "gamed" the system.

I have zero respect for Trump. He is a predator.

You could say the same about King David.

Perhaps you would explain your example? Surely you are not comparing Trump to King David? Trump isn't even Christian, and he surely isn't a man after God's own heart.

How do you know??? Trump is on record as having said:

I believe in God. I am Christian. I think The Bible is certainly, it is THE book. First Presbyterian Church in Jamaica Queens is where I went to church. I’m a Protestant, I’m a Presbyterian. And you know I’ve had a good relationship with the church over the years. I think religion is a wonderful thing. I think my religion is a wonderful religion.

trump is -also- on record as saying 'no' to the question of whether or not he has ever asked God for forgiveness...

Did you have to ask for forgiveness, or were you already forgiven?

"When I drink my little wine -- which is about the only wine I drink -- and have my little cracker, I guess that is a form of asking for forgiveness, and I do that as often as possible because I feel cleansed," he said.

But if you aren't already renewed by Christ that's all communion is.....a little wine (or grape juice) and a little cracker....basically just snack time at church.

Scripture is quite clear that salvation comes from a very simple combination of things:

A) Accepting Christ's atoning work on the cross for our sins

B) Accepting Christ as Lord of our life, in other words living for Him according to His will instead of living for ourselves according to our will.

Scripture is also clear that we should only come to the Lord's table with a pure heart. I know churches that I've attended have always allowed a time of reflection between serving the elements and partaking to allow people to "clear up" anything that is between them and God at the time prior to partaking because of the warning in 1st Corinthians 11:23-30 (NASB)

[SUP]23 [/SUP]For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus in the night in which He was betrayed took bread; [SUP]24 [/SUP]and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “This is My body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” [SUP]25 [/SUP]In the same way He took the cup also after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” [SUP]26 [/SUP]For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes.
[SUP]27 [/SUP]Therefore whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord. [SUP]28 [/SUP]But a man must examine himself, and in so doing he is to eat of the bread and drink of the cup. [SUP]29 [/SUP]For he who eats and drinks, eats and drinks judgment to himself if he does not judge the body rightly. [SUP]30 [/SUP]For this reason many among you are weak and sick, and a number [SUP][s][/SUP]sleep.
