OK, I'm up it's still dark out and I have read God's Word, it's all good in the hood as it were, and i won't even complain about the lack of sleep, however it may have oozed out a touch just then...sorry. Smile. My Hilltop this Morning was Psalms 37:5: "Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He will bring it to pass." Oh, the "not me" in that verse! I am reminded not to plan anything without God, God seems to have a delightful way of upsetting any plans I make anyway, when I have not taken Him into account. Are our circumstances all His doing? Even tho He allows them? Or do we make plans on our own and suddenly realize they were not plans made with Him? Worry is a strong indicator. So, I need to always pick -up my cross daily and fill the grace cup and move on once again! A NEW DAY! A day to bring God in as the greatest factor in all of my plans.
It's easy huh, to put God first in spiritual matters, but we tend to think that it is inappropriate and unnecessary to put Him first in the practical, everyday issues of our lives. I am in prayer always! I do not need to put on my spiritual face to talk to God, I come as I am! I don't need to plan with a concern for evil in mind, for "love.....thinks no evil." 1 Cor. 13:4-5. Thats not to say I am ignorant of evil but its not here with me in planning. I live by faith. Not by sins demeanor, or even my weakened vessel.... I start out my day a bit more tired, but I exchange that with "Let not your heart be troubled." I am cleansed! And loved by my God today. This is Gods job, placed there by Him. To not let my heart be troubled. I just need to continue my habits of putting Him first, and planning with Him in mind and actions.
Alrighty then time for Gods blessings......COFFEE! Smile.
Ok, world God has me ready! Or as I like to put it "Good Morning Vietnam!" No offense to Vietnam! Smile.[/QUOTE
