I've enjoyed talking to you a lot over the months on here Sir Sirk even though maybe it is not so obvious with our amusing lil debates about Trump, politics, and this and that. May you and your family prosper and your lil boy grow up strong, praise Jesus.

Oh, and also, you're doing it for your son Mr. Sirk. I think, so you won't feel sad about leaving, just think of the times you'll be spending with him. :) I'm sure he will be a happy kid. :)

Hey Sirk I don't know you at all but if God is telling you to spend more time with your son then by all means follow the Lord's guidance.

You don't have to delete your profile. It can sit dormant for however long you need. And who knows, maybe somewhere down the line your son will throw you a curve ball that only we can answer for you!

Sirk, it's been good reading your posts lately. You shall be missed. Take care and I hope that you and your son have a wonderful and blessed year!

(And yes, I left cc for a year and let my profile just be dormant. When I came back, it was still here and ready to go :p)

After much consideration and soul searching I've decided that in the new year I am eliminating all social media from my life. My son needs all of me and this takes a piece that I can no longer afford to give. As of Dec 31st at midnight I am asking the mods to eliminate my profile. I appreciate many of you here and I will surely miss our give and take. Some of you I will not miss. Lol. If there is anything you would like to comment about please do and please be nice. :)I am a tender soul. :) Love you all.
Goodbye, The Sirk. Love you, brother. Thanks for sharing of yourself with us. I'll miss you.

Reading all your posts made me teary. The truth is that I am really struggling and there are many reasons why. The other day my boy told me he needed more of me and I've know for awhile that he craves more of my attention. 2016 needs to be a time of drawing closer to God for me. I'm really no good to anyone right now. A house divided soon falls and it's time to cut a whole bunch of fat. I've prayed for God to break my heart and he always comes thru on His promises to draw close as you draw close to him.
You've done more good here than you know, dear brother. Truly. But yes, take this following year and dedicate it to God and your son. I pray that I hear from you again soon, if not here, at least on the New Heavens and New Earth. Shouldn't be too hard to find you (I'll just follow the string of Sirkcastic remarks). ;)

Someone told me once that anyone can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a dad, one that sacrifices their own life for their children and that's what you are doing. God bless you dearest Sirk

Hi Sirk,

I don't know you well, but I've enjoyed the post you've shared about your son. You seem like a good dad. Thanks for sharing the post about how you disciplined your son. My husband and I always try to tie the word in when we discipline our children, but we never thought to add a writing assignment. What a great way to reinforce the message! :)

God bless you and your son. Bye now :)

Maybe we should hold a memorial service for Sirk on the 31st... send him on his way, ashes to ashes dust to dust style - in fun of course!

Sirk, you have made me laugh more than anyone else here. I love your dry humor and wit. Your son is so lucky to have your full attention. Go places - play those games - read books together - let him see your wonderful relationship with Christ.

There is no better investment of time than with our children. God bless.

Be lead of the lord ole buddy.

Hope you stay.

PSSST......wait till this holiday mess is over. We are all a little confused and reeling right now. Things will look different in a few weeks. But above all, follow his lead, not ours. We are selfish. We want our sirk

Hi Sirk,

I've really enjoyed your posts here and, to be truthful, am a little selfish, as I hope that maybe someday you'll be able to come back.

Best wishes to you and your son and I hope your son knows he has a dad who really loves him. :)

When you do,hope for girls.

My boys put me through the ringer.
Really? I've heard both bring their challenges. And most people I've talked to have said their boys were easier to raise. I guess it depends.
