It's just another way of saying " to work your salvation out " and they use the false perception that grace believers do not agree with sanctification...that grace believers have no works....grace without law....

it's the same junk we hear every day...this is no different...nice try though!...

If it doesn't reflect what some people believe then it will not offend them...that's a good thing!!!

of course what the author said here in your link is totally false too....and is a common myth that has been put forth...

Too many are preaching a truncated gospel: justification without sanctification, faith without works, privilege without duty, grace without law, holiness without effort

You have to understand it yourself before you can share it with others..
Sorry sir, but when can I learn from your great wisdom. Are you not the one who spent decades in a "legalist" church until you saw the "light".

If you could not see the truth with the bible, with preaching, with everything available to you, what extra thing happened for you to change?

I suggest as you from the beginning admit you got it wrong, why should I have any confidence in what you have now?
Tomorrow you might run off after some other doctrine.

My whole christian life I have been consistent both with my sharing, my faith and my walk. You claim I have lost something, but again you cannot say what. You use the term grace yet have very little yourself.

You language is of a bully, definative, you are like this, wrong like that, worth nothing, empty etc. With the measure you give so will be measured to you. All you have on me is I am not a OSAS follower. You are happy to condemn most of the church similarly minded. I am glad the Lord does not think or express himself like you.

I suppose beating a few people up each day makes you feel better. Have you ever thought you have a few anger issues you are in denial about?

It is sad you condemn me for following Jesus. Is this how you encourage young believers when they come to faith?

I hope you analyse this, it might distract you from tormenting some other individual.

This is the most ridiculous argument I have ever heard, Because someone came into the light, and saw the truth. They should not be listened to.. Wow man, Just wow.

1. The church I grew up in was my dads church, I was born into it.
2. Using your own argument, We should never listen to paul. Paul came from legalism to grace, so As you just said, and using your won argument, he is untrustworthy.
3. Can I call you saul? Since you will not change to paul? Just asking.. You staying the same means nothing..

That's all I need on you. If you can not follow the gospel of Christ, Nothing else you say matters, If the basic precept of a Christian life (Eternal life based on faith in Christ) is not held to truth. non of the rest matters.

As for the lord. Have you read the bible? He got Angry at people like you a lot. Calling ya whitewashed tombs. And many other things.

I just reject your gospel.. If you want me to start calling you names. Let me know.. Of course. You yourself have called me many names.. So even if I did do that, You have no right to judge me, because you do it yourself..

You do not follow Jesus, You reject his gospel.. His promise, and his grace.

I pray you repent one day, and realise the lie you have lived is the lie of satan.

You admitted the bible is not even complete. So how can anyone trust you in anything you say? Even if it is true. you have destroyed your witness.

Your dads church. You have some serious dad issues then.

I never knew the bible said, "Believe Jesus and you have eternal life, only if you believe if you fall away and willfully sin, and reject all Jesus stands for, it is actually ok, then you belief is real, but if you believe and you think you can reject Jesus, you are not saved." This sounds like a contract with lots of small print.

I know churchs like the strict and particular baptists where you have to be vetted before they will even have fellowship with you.

Has it occured to you that by adding to Jesus's words you are taking away your own salvation and have miss-understood His intention. He wants people who love from the heart, who walk in His ways, who know Him like He knew the Father.

Do you think Jesus said, "I wonder if I am saved?" Oh yes that doctrine of OSAS reassures me that the Father loves me and I can never be lost. The only time when he knew being forsaken was on the cross, "Father why have you forsaken me?"

I am glad I know my Lord and walk with Him everyday. I am not surprised people find you hard to deal with, because you have tried to snatch my fellowship with Jesus away, but I forgive you for you know not what you do.

Do you know it is difficult to repent of something I have not done. If I have not done it I cannot have lived it.
Is this the Holy Spirit speaking from you? I am not getting the feeling you know what you are saying.

Please give me one phrase from scripture that describes my failure?
Please tell me one sin I have commited before the Lord that I need to repent of?

If you seriously believe in spiritual authority either you come with these things or you shut up or risk the Lord executing judgement on you.

Not listening to your conscience is a statement made by LadyLynn.
It is also a comment made by other hyper-grace followers. You obviously do not read what people post, but that does not surprise me either.

Brainwashing

There is one simple way you can brainwash any individual. You take away all there reference points in life and replace them with only approved material. You condemn conscience or their past to determine what is good or bad.

Once you have someone like this, it is almost impossible to get through to them, because facts no longer matter, they only have one focus on everything. After years life often finally breaks through, work or things they actually care about, and their reference points shift back to what as humans we regard as normal.

Once identified you know what to expect from the washing machine.

Grace7x77 certainly appears to be 100% down this road.
EG certainly is, though he sometimes has glimers.
FreeNChrist sounds like he is bound up as well.

If you talk to JW's or Mormons you get the same run around.

If have read of guys who came out of these groups and it takes years to see the single track nature of reinterpreting everything to fit one train of thought.

One way to check that you have not become likewise indoctrinated is to take every concept and think of all the different ways it could be interpreted. Once you have understood them and know you freely chose a position it is your position and not brainwashing.
Brainwashing thus includes FEAR Factor, FACTS Factor and Redefining of the generally accepted theological terminology to fit one's own system...That's having spiritual discernment.

Lu 8:29 (For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For oftentimes it had caught him: and he was kept bound with chains and in fetters; and he brake the bands, and was driven of the devil into the wilderness.)

Lu 9:42 And as he was yet a coming, the devil threw him down, and tare him. And Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the child, and delivered him again to his father.

Lu 11:24 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out.

did your read anything i said, this is 2016. not an other quote of the logos.( jesus back in heaven ie if your a believer in 2016, that would mean you have to connect to the rhema.) but if your trapped in the logos , but since there is no quote then i will leave you in you own understanding. even a fool can quote the logos. the truth sets you free. not a rerun of jesus life. because , i would like to tell you, but why, you again missed everything, must be wanting everyone to stick to pea brain logic.
jesus is all ready lord of all. what cause are you aiming for. (the truth sets you free, etc) not the sticking in the past.

you were asked this.
define demon, ie some of the things call demon, in the bible, are now called an illness in 2016. ie epilepsy for example.

Matthew 6:27-30

[SUP]27 [/SUP]Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
[SUP]28 [/SUP]And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
[SUP]29 [/SUP]And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
[SUP]30 [/SUP]Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

I don't know the whole story on this one but I bet its going to be good. What is the ending going to be?

As your faith is let it be unto you.

Mark 9:24 And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.

This is low even by your standards.
FreeNChrist - Put this in perspective. I have been told I have no gospel, I have followed Satan, and I am pointing out a guy was in his dads church which he has condemned as legalistic, that he has some Dad issues.

I did not realise having Dad issues is a serious crime. I had some dad issues. Mine were I did not know him and he was terribly shy. Strangely this meant I was scared of authority and always wanted to explain myself. I had to practise empathising with people in leadership roles to work through this.

So I am sorry if this causes offence. I hope you can forgive me.

Maybe you freeNChrist can tell me of my sin and how I can repent of something I have not done. Is it a sin to say OSAS is not real? I did not read that in the law, or in Jesus's commands.

I just have to believe my Lord and Saviour to be saved, which ofcourse means follow after Him and learn from Him which I do daily. What I find mildly amusing is if we do the same things walking with the Lord, why do we describe it differently?

Sadly, You sound just like my dads church. They believe as you do.

But yet again, I destroyed your argument, and you can not even see it..

Again, If your argument is true, we should not listen to paul Because he changed..

What part of the scriptures cited do you not comprehend?

Are you going to invent new meanings for things in the bible because it's 2016?

Despite your caustic attitude you cannot change what the bible says today, tomorrow or in the future.

Have you anything of virtue to contribute?
