I encourage you to research this. There is an evil spirit behind this. Have you ever looked into pokemon? Its straight out of japan as well. The symbolism is occult. Satan is subtle. Thats why it wasnt easy for you to pull away from it

True but I think the same applies to Harry Potter and other dark fiction stuff. I haven't really noticed it in Pokemon. I was too young when I watched it lol. Most mangas do have the influence of Shinto and/or Buddhism. It became my hobby when I was younger, so it was hard to get rid of it at first. The same thing when I was trying to overcome video gaming addiction. They're all about the same to me now. It's only very recently that I've come to realize that by diverting my attention and time to these stuff, I wasn't really trusting that Christ is enough. I think once that revelation sinks in, then it will be easier to overcome.
 
Anime and Manga aren't occult or evil. They are a form of graphic novel and a type of animation. Specifically, anime gained its unique view of animation through works like "Record of Loddoss War". Its animation placed upon a static background. Most of what is put forward as anime isn't, but that's more of a technical argument.

In fact, there are Christian mangas and at least two anime styled movies about Jesus, one being a short film from the eyes of the Holy Thief, watching Jesus go to the Cross, and confessing his sins to Christ and proclaiming him as Messiah.

Just because it is of Asian origin doesn't make it occult. Occultism may use anime, but occultism uses books, movies, tv shows, songs, etc. This does not make movies, books, tv shows, songs, etc. evil or occult. They are a medium used to put forth a worldview. Can Satan use that? Yes. Does Satan control it? No.

I do testify to this. I've read the Manga Messiah when I was in college and we've distributed a few copies to our kid friends.

I think the main point is, anything can be used by the devil against us or to cause us to stumble, be it anime, video games, movies or even books. It's only really when we find complete satisfaction and contentment in Jesus that we learn to not give in to these - and this is a constant, daily surrender.

But, the main point of the thread is anime. The secondary focus is where it came from and the main religion of the land it came from. Some things are rooted in evil. They are PRODUCED out of an evil spirit. Ill give you a very obvious example: porn.
 
Pornography has existed in every culture. It isn't occultism, but man. Also, anime isn't simply pornography. In fact, the best animes stay as far away from it as possible. Its man that lusts. Again, the medium isn't to blame.

In essence, claiming anime is evil is akin to saying cartoons are evil. The only difference between Western Cartoons and Anime is...the cultural frame. However, both are animation and neither are evil in and of themselves. Its how something is used that makes it evil.

I don't honestly recommend Christian to watch Anime even though it for entertainment:

1. It can cause many people to have addiction or idol in their life.

2. Anime has their own God and belief which they worshipped their God at the shrine

3. The Anime girl cause older men or younger boy to be attractive them because of their appearance even though they don't dress modesty instead wear short skirt.

Yes this is true. Porn existed long before anime did. See, porn is synonymous to erotic literature which were available to man long before technology was born. Also, not only Japan makes anime. I know for one, South Korea creates anime, these are called Manhwa. And the largest Protestant church in the world (pentecostal) is found in South Korea.

Second, your ad hominem comment about the RC has no basis in this thread, because it has nothing to do with the topic.

You apparently have no clue about anime because you are willing to attack an entire media because its...foreign. Anime doesn't have origins in Buddhism anymore than western civilized cartoons have to do with Celts or Germanic pagans. The stylization is born from a culture, but to immediately attack an entire form of animation for the sheer fact that its...Japanese and Japanese people used to be pagans en masse is nonsensical. Its equal in argument to say, "English is evil because its based on Latin, German, Gaelic, and French and all of those people were pagans once." Seriously, the medium itself is not evil. Nor is the Japanese language evil. They are mediums for thought to be conveyed. It is what is done with those mediums that causes something to be evil or good.

I agree with you 100% I also heard that Hello Kitty was one of the biggest example to be pure satanic and evil despite the fact it was a Japanese cartoon made for little children.

Hello Kitty related a girl who has cancer in her mouth. Doctor say that the girl isn't able to get cure. So the mother went to many different type of church to pray for her daughter even though it didn't work. The mother became so desperate to cure her child she decided to be involved with satanic ritual and devil worshipped. The mother made impact with the devil in order to cure daughter. Which allowed her daughter to be heal instantly by the devil. The devil however ask the mother one things in return which was to created a popular cartoon characters all over world that appeal to children in order to tricking people in worshipping Satan.

Oh really??? Care to explain why is hentai is drawn in anime or manga style which contain anime girl showing their bodies not modesty instead they are being nude by showing eechi and fanservice. Which is indeed considered pornographic in Japan.

If a Bible appears in a occult movie does that make the bible occult?
No? Then what does what you just said have to do with ordinary anime?
