I said God's grace ACCOUNTS for our inability to walk properly. I did not say it "points it out."
Thank God that it does.

It does not account for it either as God's grace does not allow lewdness to continue.
Where sin abound Grace abounded much more, means that God's grace is stronger then sin and leads all who are under it to overcome their sinful ways. Not that it allows us to continue to do them because His grace will cover them !!!
The only way this accountability works in God's grace is for the times we slip up and confess and more forward in the Light, not those that continue to deliberately keep sinning.......

There. I fixed it for you.
God's grace ACCOUNTS for our inability to walk perfectly.
There you go with the broken record of everyone who believes in God's grace is running around drunk and naked, trying to find some evil to do. Get over it. You are not the only person who tries to live for God. Many of the others just don't brag about it.
Then why aren't any of us (including you and me) doing it? The Bible says no sin is getting into whatever Heaven turns out to be. Yet we all still produce plenty of it.
Therefore, the one who thinks that he stands must watch out lest he fall. You speak for yourself, not me.

Nobody is bragging Willie-T, and instead of resorting to come backs of false witnessing just please stick to what is being said.
That is not the proper way to go about responding to a person, and just because you and a few others on here don't go around seeking to sin does not mean that style of teaching is not done in some grace only churches.
I have visited a few Grace only churches that do teach their congregation how they walk, their behavior, and what they do all around does not matter.
This is false teaching at its highest and thus deserves to be squashed, and just because you don't walk in that way does not mean you should walk around and ignore or deny that it does take place !!!
This is one of the issues of the OSASers when I first came on here, they denied the radical side of these teachings that are going around and just kept doing the same straw-man you are doing.
Nowhere did I say everybody that believes in God's grace, because I believe in God's grace and know by the Holy Spirit that what the Word of God says that it does not allow lewdness to continue is true. Because anytime the thought of sinning comes up or if I sin the Holy Spirit convicts me not to do or if I do it get chastised to correct me !!!
OK, I accept that. But, just like Ken, please get it out of your head that we who believe in God's grace are animals, far below you Holy ones, just searching for evils to commit.
Where have I ever said or even implied that? I believe in GOD's grace. I oppose new.modern.hyper grace because it is a redefinition of GOD's grace. That is all.

I think the misconception of GRACE may well need to be more accurately defined. As I hear you guys say, it seems you think GRACE is some power you have been given, and now possess, that you employ by doing certain things. I, on the other hand, understand GRACE to be God's, not mine. And I see it as God stepping into situations to help me. I may do the "wrong" thing, or say something inappropriate to a given situation, but God intervenes in His GRACE, and I don't manage to foul things up as I might have without that help.
Maybe I have been reading you wrong then. What is your definition of Grace?
Well then, how about you quit laying it out here like it is such a prevalent thing? We get a little sick of the accusations.
As you know, I am in KC quite often. So, how about specifically posting the names and locations of these churches you are talking about that tell their members it is fine to go sin. I WILL visit them and ask the leaders about this teaching.

God's grace is his passing over the judgment rightfully due us because of our sin, and giving us his spirit so that we may abide in holiness until such time as we are perfected.
Do I really need to name that many ???
I mean come on this is a major problem within the teachings of Calvinism or OSAS or eternal security or hyper-grace or shut I lost count of all the names and changes this doctrine has gone through over the past many years.
In the late 80's to early 90's there was a major wake up call, especially within the Baptist churches, but members of different denominations joined in to stop the false teaching of Calvinism from influencing the teachings in the church. Because in the 80's the teachings of churches telling their congregations they can live and do whatever they wanted got bad around the U.S.
Calvinism was to blame for this (the original doctrine of OSAS), but over the years it has changed its name and teachings to the many different versions we have today.
Again they do not say it in those exact words "that it is fine to go and sin" but stating behavior, how we walk, and what we do doesn't matter is saying the same thing.
Failing to teach the warnings to believers from the bible is also a bad form of teaching, because that also leads to thinking no matter what they do there is no warning against it.
The lie of the devil that he told to Eve still exists today, telling people go ahead and do you will not die !!!
If you see someone teaching something contrary to sound doctrine? Defeat them in the scriptures but attacking the grace of God in such a general way because you cant make a biblical defense of your position is just error upon error.Where have I ever said or even implied that? I believe in GOD's grace. I oppose new.modern.hyper grace because it is a redefinition of GOD's grace. That is all.
Abide in holiness, that's the part where you nullified His grace. Yes our conduct is to be righteous, it happens through a renewing of the mind. However the process of sanctification isn't a requirement onto salvation but is a fruit of having received salvation.
If someone accepts Jesus Christ, places faith in Him, and dies that very night he didn't go through a life long process of sanctification. Yet, he is saved by the blood of Jesus Christ cleansing him from all sin. Sanctification can happen but due to circumstance doesn't in some cases and therefore reveals that sanctification isn't a necessity to be saved.
Lets be clear though, if you're living the process is in effect, but if you struggle with a particular sin your entire life (for example) and don't ever overcome it you would still be saved. Our salvation is in Christ not at the moment we overcome a particular sin in our life.
Yes, you do. Because all you have done in this post is just made another blanket accusation, "Aw, they ALL do it!" Which, in effect, says nothing.
Just post the name and addresses of three churches you physically walked into and sat down, and heard people being told to sin. Anywhere will do. I can telephone them if they are not near.
