Grow up and stop using generalisations. Some anime is evil, but not all anime is evil. And it's not the medium itself that is the issue, it's that everything people touch is tainted by sin. So be discerning in everything. And don't miss the forest for the trees.
You are telling me to grow up? LOL
okayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
Thats funny;)

I've heard of people robbing and killing over shoes. Shoes must be evil. Not people, but shoes. So we need to stop wearing shoes. Because more people have been killed over shoes than pokemon.

I poured holy water on my shoes but they're not melting!

So God doesn't give people athletic skills? The Bible doesn't give a metaphor of an athlete running a marathon? Again, it's just a simple yes or no answer. Please don't try that technique. I'd just like to see if you say "Yes, God gives people athletic talents and the Bible talks about running a marathon" or no He doesn't. But it looks like you won't do that, because people don't like to address the subject or question at hand when they are presented with something they know they can't disagree with.

A man assaulted his wife and used her head as a mop over a peanut butter and jelly sandwich... I guess that means the traditional PB&J must be evil, too.
Wow. How horrid! How evil and democratic can people get?

Wow it such a shame here that I'm actually disappointed and face palming myself with some of the Christian who are acting so foolishness and being very arrogant by having a bad attitude in their comment. Despite the fact that I'm new to Christianity and a new member of Christian. Is that how real Christian are supposed to act toward other people who aren't even religious or have different belief????????
Even though some of you Christian right off the bat quickly assumed and misleading me to think that it ok to enjoy things in the world after all it doesn't have to be pure or holy.
Yet you don't even known what exactly like for a young girl like me to had a horrible experience from having an addiction and obsession with anime which I haven't even edit my original post. There after all many people around the world who also are struggling to overcome their obsession or addiction in their every day life.

Anything can become an addiction or worshipped or an idol. Food. Activities like fishing and golf. Tv in general (not just anime). All of those can and have been negative triggers for people. If it starts to interfere with God and our walk with Him, then that would be a cause for concern. I'm not into anime myself, but I personally don't believe watching it is a sin. If you feel the Holy Spirit convicting you when you watch it, then that's God saying you shouldn't be. People can't get into sports because of the ridiculous amount of money they are paid (different discussion). Me? Next to church, I can (and have) spend Sundays just watching football. It's all what you feel God is telling you. Saying that, though, He never tells us to do something bad. Because God is good. And He always will want what's best for us.

Yes, I agree with this so much. For me it was video games, for 33 years of my life I LOVED them, they were my hobby, my escape. Well I finally hit a point in life where I broke (a totally unrelated issue, my testimony is posted here for details, but I'm talking about a result of my own personal regeneration) And was saved that night waking up regenerated and a "new man" in Christ. To be honest it took a little while to even realize what had happen to me, just halfway through the day I had realized I felt good and had not contemplated killing myself all day (again makes more sense when you understand where I was at that point), anyway once I got home I decided to sit down and play some games on the Xbox. Well I turned it on and all I could think about was "what are my sons doing, are the things I'm doing on this game really things God would want me filling my mind with, and how could this time be better spent". I didn't just wake up and say "all games are evil, I quit", or anything like that. It's just the Spirit led me a different direction and changed my priorities just like that overnight. I also don't go around telling others that they shouldn't play video games or that "all games are the devil", or anything like that. I will share how God worked in me personally for His glory, but not in a confrontational way at all.

This is how I personally took strawberryrosebow's comment too. I just felt she was sharing what she's learned and felt from her experience with the Lord. I appreciate her testimony and I guess I didn't get offended like many here did because I don't watch it. I do think her experience and concerns are perfactly valid. Almost all entertainment in these days are a distraction from God, and when we hear that about things we personally like in that light we tend to get very defensive and start calling each others mother "Jack". LOL, just kidding about the last part, but I do think we should be careful and make a distinction in what we generalize as apposed to where God has lead "us" personally. Thank you Strawberry for sharing though, and I completely understand your point.

I apologized to all the Christian that I offended them by saying that all anime are evil and is considered demonic. I also apologized for lashing out at Titin with the whole comment your mother is a jack. I known I should know better not to debate or argue with other christian at this forum instead share my whole experience or my testimony why did I considered Anime to be Demonic and Evil. I'm not trying to convinced or to please to people to stopped enjoying their favorite hobbies or activities. Instead to encouraged them to be more careful in spending a lot of time in focusing on one thing. After all everyone has a choice and they make their own decision in their personal life.

LOL that's great, and I really hope you didn't think I was trying to directly "accuse" you at all. I agree with you for the most part and thought the "jack" thing was funny as heck to be honest (in a lighthearted, not SO serious way). I really just wanted to let you know I do understand what you were saying and cut you a little slack as far as the bombarding you seemed to be getting. You seemed a bit overwhelmed and I didn't think your comment or point warranted all that. I really hope I didn't make my comment sound like I was telling you what to do or anything like that, I was really just trying to encourage you a bit. Anyway I hope you have a great day and take it easy. 8^)

Thanks, BTW I'm still a little bit a confused at that part when you said that you appreciated my testimony. I however didn't explain yet my whole testimony which I sorta created an error in the original post.

I just meant by that, thank you for sharing how God had worked in your life in this instance. It is a testament to His power, it doesn't have to include your "whole life" or "whole conversion" type thing, as far as I know anyway. I was just saying thanks for sharing this little bit of His power in your experience.

Even though this post seem to be old, In my opinion I would have to agree that anime could possibility be considered evil. Well I known for sure that watching anime, listening music, social media, or enjoying things out of the world ain't going to save a human soul instead give entertainment to the flesh and try to distracted having relationship with god and have satan torture human being.

Can you please construct complete sentences? I have trouble understanding you. Thanks.

I agree, it's way over dramatized especially the expressions on people's faces...although I do like some of the techno music but not the artwork of anime....it's too fake compared to bugs bunny for instance lol...
